Harbor Freight got it done and them some! Hands down the most fun encounter a woman that totally felt like a fish out of water could ever have ever had!
So it was Christmas Eve and as a newly wed I was concerned that my husband went overboard on acquiring so many Christmas gifts for me!!!
So I decided to cleverly go purchase him a new drill that he had hinted about!๐ค
I felt so overwhelmed not knowing how to speak or navigate the foreign world of tools!๐ฅบ
With my Best friend on speakerphone, I courageously walked in and felt guided to find a non intimidating store representative to assist!
Then I met the Amazing AUSTIN ๐๐๐ He was outstanding and patient! He was so knowledgeable and helpful!
Not only did I really bombard him with 100 questions, he also patiently answered my boisterous Best friendโs questions (she speaks Tools)!
Austin is a young supervisor who has wonderful refined customer service skills! I work in the service industry and this young gentleman went above and beyond in every way! ๐๐๐๐ My husband loved his new TOOL LINE!๐
My Christmas Eve mission was completed just in the Nick of time! I matched his generous gift giving style!๐
My expectations were exceeded and I ended up purchasing almost the whole HERCULES LINE! Thank you Harbor Freight! Iโll be back to collect more gadgets soon! ๐

I wait in line with the ticket for the item in hand just for the rude cashier Jodi to tell me the item is no longer in stock and most likely will never be back in stock. So why have the tickets if the item is no longer in stock? I inquire with her about another similar item and with barely looking at it on my phone she tells me it's on aisle 8. Go to aisle 8 and it's completely the wrong item. Go back to the cashier and have to stand in line behind three people at this point as Jodi is the only one working the register on a busy weekend. Then after waiting (again!) I tell her that is not the right item and i show her again on my phone. She finds the call ticket for the item and calls for it to be brought up and tells me to wait to the side while they bring it from the back. 20 minutes later they bring it up and the line is 5-6 people deep by now she starts calling other people in front of me after she seen the item was brought up. I said excuse me miss but i've been waiting here for quite some time and she looks at me and says you will have to go to the back of the line!! Even other customers looked at her with disbelief! This store has horrible customer service and I will never return to this location again. Hopefully the manager reads this and can give their employees some...
ย ย ย Read moreGreat place to go if you need a tool and don't want to spend a ton of money, but for the last 3 times I've went in need of something they haven't had it in stock. According to the employees on my 2 most recent visits harbor freight does not take inventory from the stores, they stock based on sales in and around nearby areas, so the employees can't request what they actually need in their stores and they are left to deal with disappointing customers when they come to purchase a specific item. Also I was told their system isn't even setup to request inventory when it's needed. Very poor management in this area, so don't get your hopes up if you're in need of something specific because there's a very high chance that they won't have it... Even more so if it's on sale or has a coupon. They need to fix this because as a result they are losing a ton of sales! With just me alone they have lost $780 dollars in sales over my last 3 visits this month... definitely needs some serious inventory management improvement!! One positive thing I can say right now is that the staff was very friendly and helpful, it's not their fault they're left helpless by poor corporate management. If they don't have have the inventory then they shouldn't even be advertising...
