Old Brick Furniture + Mattress Co. — Local services in Pittsfield

First off, as new homeowners, we were in the business for a A LOT of furniture. We hate to be pressured to buy anything and weren't going to settle for anything less than high quality at a good price. We've gone the Bob's route before...never again. As we entered Bennington Furniture (in Pittsfield), Dana greeted us, told us if we had any questions to bug him, but more than anything he wanted us to look around and get a feel for what we wanted. Of course the questions started rolling in, and a few hours later, all of our furniture was purchased, hassle free, high quality, gorgeous but at a great price. This place is NOT Bob's and that's a good thing. You will pay a bit more, but not nearly as much as the other private furniture stores in the area. The service was spectacular and the delivery was just as great. Bennington has their own in-house delivery team! Are you kidding me!? Not a thing came damaged. Not a wall was dinged up. It's because Bennington actually has an investment in their own furniture. At Bob's, I literally went through 4, count it 4, fireplace/TV mantles because the 3rd party delivery team blamed the chips/dents/breaks on Bob's warehouse and there was no way to prove that was the case. Bennington Furniture is excellent all-around. If you need help, see Dana or any of the other staff there, and you'll actually feel taken care of without being hassled to buy a single item. I rarely ever review, but these guys deserve it. (Oh, and they provided us 4 years of tons free...

After shopping at 8 different stores from Albany N.Y. to Bennington Vt. to Pittsfield MA. We ended at Old Brick in Pittsfield where we finally found a living room set that was in stock and reasonably priced. We were able to wander the store at our leisure without being harassed. When we had made our decision, the salesperson, Paul, was very helpful in putting together our living room package. We purchased a sofa, love seat, 2 end tables and cocktail table. We were promised delivery in 7 to 10 days. It was delivered on the 9th day. The only issue was there were no casters on the cocktail table. The delivery driver, Michael, returned at the end of the day, on his own time, and installed the casters. You talk about great service? You just don't get that anywhere but Old Brick! We are extremely pleased with our new furniture. In fact, we decided to purchase a matching side chair table to finish off the set. I called the store and spoke to Paul and 3 days later we picked up the table in the store. Our entire experience was pleasant, we received our furniture in a very timely manner and everyone we dealt with went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. I would very highly recommend Old Brick in Pittsfield to anyone looking for new furniture...

We visited Old Brick back in early March and met with Dana. We explained that we had a special needs adult getting prepared for a new residential setting and it would be a bit of time before we were ready to order the furniture. Dana helped us with our selection of a complete bedroom set and we had the necessary information in advance. Today we were prepared to order the bedroom set and process was very easy start to finish. Dana was very helpful and attentive to our needs. This was our first experience with our local Old Brick Furniture store and overall we have been very satisfied. We can recommend this company for your furniture needs.

The furniture was delivered yesterday for our special needs adult and the delivery staff did an excellent job getting things upstairs and set up. The bedroom set looks fantastic and we have received very positive comments so far.
