I called over the phone to place an order for pick up and specifically asked if this was the Williamstown Massachusetts location which they confirmed. Yes this is the Moonlight diner so I went to pick up my order and was told we don’t have an online or over the phone order. so the woman said, did you call Pittsfield or did you call Williamstown? I said I called Williamstown and even confirmed that it was the correct location. Come to find out the order was sent to another location. The order came to $76. The manager Bonnie was extremely rude and before even explaining my situation, she Already had a tone in her voice. She did absolutely nothing to help me or show any type of consideration or understanding to the situation. To be honest, I would have been happy with even $20 in credit to the restaurant but this woman offered nothing. She kept making very unkind remarks, and had no sympathy for the situation at all. I clarified with Bonnie that I knew this was 100% my mistake for dialing the wrong number but the fact that I specifically asked if this was the Williamstown location and whomever answer the phone verify that and then I got stuck Being charged $76 for food that I can’t even get is just not right. This woman had me so upset at the end of the phone call that I was in tears because of the way that she treated me and the things that she was saying to me. I explain to her that I am at work and because it’s graduation weekend we are extremely busy and I’m not able to leave to drive from Williamstown to Pittsfield to pick up the order, she was not even willing to give me any type of credit or anything to come back at a later day and pick up my food. Read moreMy whole family had an awful experience here yesterday. We had a party of 15 +. Many little things such as no straws, missing silverware, and forgotten drinks, to start. But here's the real problems. To start, my cousins scrambled eggs had a big, nasty hair sitting right ontop of them. We quickly mentioned it, and the waitress replied "well you know, stuff happens like that", and went to redo my cousins food. At the same time, my uncles burger buns were burnt and charred so bad, he didn't want it. He asked for new buns, due to them being burnt. Five mins later, my cousins new plate of food, and my uncles new buns came out. This time, the buns were EVEN MORE burnt. Nearly completely black. He said "screw this, ill just go to burger king". With my cousins new plate of food, his bacon appeared to be completely uncooked. He held it up and said "look at my bacon!" It looked like it just came out of the package. My aunt (who is a manager of a major nearby restaurant and knows how to treat customers) was furious with our service. She asked to speak with a manager. Well, the "manager" seemed to avoid the situation. She, or he, would not come out from behind the scenes and address our table. About half an hour later, and still no manager, we all left, except my aunt. She stayed and demanded to see the manager. I heard that the manager finally came out, dressed like a teenage girl going to movie night. She told my aunt to "lower her voice!!". My aunt told her "you need some serious management training", and left. So, if whomever owns this place sees this, you desperately need some new management here. It was late lunchtime (1:00) and I was in the mood for a quick portable breakfast but not from a fast food place. I was able to order online. Their online ordering system is fantastic and is very detailed so you get exactly what you want, how you want it. I ordered a biscuit and sausage patties a la carte. I didn’t realize the side was 2 patties - bonus! What a great sausage biscuit sandwich! The sausage patties are large and fit perfectly on the biscuit. The biscuit is so light and fluffy. Hubby said it’s the best biscuit he’s ever had. (I need to up my game!) My order was ready super fast and I was back on the road running my errands in no time with no mess in the car. The biscuit held together nicely and did not break apart or crumble and somehow managed to be light & fluffy at the same time. The staff was friendly and hustling as they were busy. I looked around the dining room. Customers were all happy and smiling. Great place for families, couples or flying solo. Love the vibe here.
