Hibachi Buffet — Restaurant in Pittsfield

This place was disgusting. Barely any food on the buffet, and the stuff that was there was empty or had been out there so long it was dried up and nasty. The cold salads had been sitting there probably all day because they had a gross crust on them. The iced tea tasted like chemicals. When I said I did not think it was worth the 16.99 they charge she said she cod take the drinks off. 2 people came in and looked at the buffet and left wich is what we should have done. We are from upstate NY and thought we would try this on our way back home, but wish I had not. I totally feel sick now. I wouldnt even give this food to my dog!!!! Oh I forgot to mention when we sat down the table was a mess and sticky, my daughter wiped it with a napkin and this gross black stuff was all over and we told them they said we could switch tables but I asked if they cod just wipe her spot...they did but I should have known it was not...

Not very well lit it made the atmosphere of the restaurant appear and seem gloomy. Also, I dress according to my faith and that day, was the Saturday before Easter Sunday, I had a hijab/ headress on like every other day. I felt like because it was the Saturday before Easter Sunday that they decided to neglect my table for service. It took forever for the waitress to get our drinks and she never listened to a word I said. It was very odd to us. I always wear my head scarves so I didn't realize until I got stares and heard others whispering about why I was wearing the hijab and what does it mean.... because I'm of a different color and faith/religion blah blah. There was no music so that big space made a whisper sound audible from where I was sitting. One of the best hidden gems of the Berkshires! I came last evening with my family and we all had a great experience. It is run by a local and VERY friendly family. Service from them was wonderful, prompt and quick for getting anything we needed or answering our tons of questions. Food was all hot, fresh, and flavorful. Definitely recommend getting their hibachi as well. The interior of the restaurant is very nice and spacious, well decorated too.
