Villa Havana Cigar Lounge — Local services in Plainfield

Before I get into it, here's the TL;DR: It's fantastic. You should come here. Ok, the longer version. I hung out at the well-known Avon cigar bar for more than 15 years. I used to say that was the only lounge in Indy I'd go. I drove past Villa Havana every time I went to this other place. Never went in. Then, that lounge changed. A lot. Not for me anymore. Fortunately, Hendricks County still had Villa Havana so I went in one day about 3 years ago. It was an instant match for me. Cool vibe, attractive decor, very well-stocked humidor with many sticks I adore, awesome staff (I'm looking at you, Lawrence and Nick), great selection at the bar, and an always-interesting eclectic mix of patrons. Excellent smoke extraction, too. If you go in there alone, you'll leave with a bunch of new friends. There's no pretention here; no territorial, entitled band of regulars holding court at a "grown-ups" table to make you feel unwelcome. Just good service, cool staff, and great sticks. The first couple of times I went here I thought that it was great. I want to go to small businesses and support the community and small business owners. They had a lot to choose from and they had the brands that I like. Since then I've noticed that they don't restock as often as they should. After the second week I noticed that they were missing some of my usual brands. The next week was more and then more and now it's been a month and they still haven't reordered. Sadly I'm gonna have to stop going because I can get what I want, at a better price, from the internet. Fantastic hidden gem of a spot. Able to bring in, and enjoy your own sticks. I brought in, and thoroughly enjoyed, my Opus X with a couple of the best Old Fashioneds I've ever had (and I drink a LOT of Old Fashioneds). Owner/bartender was extremely welcoming, nice, and delivered excellent customer service. Anytime I'm in the Indianapolis area I'll absolutely be returning. The humidor displayed tons of fantastic sticks - all extremely well-priced. The owner hunted his inventory for each of the boxes about which I inquired. I was extremely happy to leave with a box of Liga Privada Papas Fritas, which my local cigar lounges...
