Learn more10-23-2023 Ordered food at 12:06 pm to order a salad and a drink I was told 30-40 minutes at 1:30 I get a message from the dasher that my food will arrive at 2pm way past the time I was given. I'm then told by the dasher who I can barely understand that they don't have the drink. Now I'm really mad as the person who took the order didn't tell me they didn't have it but let me order it anyways.
I told the dasher I don't want it as I'm now way past the time I was told so I told him I don't want it tell them I want my money back he says its not his issue.
I call the manager and she tells me the system doesn't update that they don't have the drink and that the dasher was "just doing his job to find a replacement" she gets irritated after I say I want my money back asked for my name and hangs ups on me.
Horrible service door dash is a plague which they use even if you dont order through door dash and customer service which used to be great at this location has plunged
I worked for Papa Johns for 4 years we never sold anything that we didn't have in stock and if a online order came for something we didn't have we immediately would contact them to let them know and find a replacement if that was ok with them. Not wait for the delivery guy to do it...

While I can’t speak to the quality of food and service that the dinner crew provides, the employees that operate during the lunch hours, are TOP NOTCH and the quality of pizzas that they creating are great! The pizzas always look like you would see in the images when you’re placing an order. I cannot say the same for most all other Donato’s Pizza locations that I’ve placed an order with in the past. But what has pleased us about the Plainfield location is their consistency. Always positive interactions with the employees and always delivering us great pizzas! I called to ask a question about my door dash order that was clearly messed up, gave him my account name and without hearing my concerns I was told to hold on and he never came back to the phone. GUILTY….. and did not want to hear my concerns I assume. Left me on hold for 20 mins, I hung up and called back 3 times and he just let the phone RING RING RING. Called from my other phone and he answered but hung up when I called him out on his customer service!! Why would you deliver the wrong order and not want to hear me out or apologize for it? This guy is bad for business and needs to be fired!! Thank goodness door dash gave me a Full REFUND. NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL I ORDER...
