My daughter and I stopped by here on a Saturday late afternoon and it was somewhat busier than expected. At the time there was only 1 person working the kitchen, making items and 1 person working the register. The person on the register made it clear he was brand new by about a week but was efficient in taking orders. We ordered 2 x Mango Ice which was $15 combined. They offer a cup for $7 or a large bowl for $15. After finishing, a cup should be sufficient for most people's appetite. The store was overall clean and tidy if not a tad on the small side. Several groups of people were already waiting when we arrived and you can tell that the kitchen easily gets behind with just a few orders if done back to back. Overall it took about 20 mins to get our order which considering what it takes to make Mango Ice, is WAY TOO LONG.... luckily, 2 more staff showed up and helped get everything done. I will say the Mango Ice was awesome....light, refreshing and very tasty and would definitely order it again. I would recommend this place but just don't be surprised if you have to wait 10 to 15+ mins depending...
Read moreWow, the bubble tea places from Cali are popping up all over the place in the DFW area! I am a fan of ToCoToCo though. Their cups alone won me over. I love the clear coffee cups with a cute heart-shaped stopper. I like the convenience of already having a hole poked in the lid for you so you don't have to struggle with breaking the seal of the traditional bubble tea cups. My friend and I stopped by because we heard about their BOGO 50% off promotion they're currently having and I encourage everyone to do the same! I got the "Tiger Sugar" and thought it was one of the prettiest drinks I've ever had. I like the brown sugar flavor mixed in with the fresh milk. You can get it with either fresh milk or milk tea! Their boba is pretty good too. The texture of the boba is spot on and not too mushy and not tough - it has just enough bite. The blueberry green tea has a pretty strong blueberry flavor and was a bit sweet for me but remember you can always adjust the sweetness level (as well as ice level!) I did like the flavor and the color of the drink. I'll...
Read moreI visited this place with friends because of a free heart jelly promotion they had for Valentine's Day. I didn't end up getting the heart jelly because I wanted a milk tea and didn't think it would pair well. I got the taro milk tea with the classic black boba and the drink was decent. The tea was actually pretty good. Nice and creamy. The thing is they put wayyyy too much boba in the drink! They charge $0.75 for boba so I was like okay I get my money's worth but it was just too much boba. It seemed endless! To some that may be a dream, but I couldn't even taste the drink because they put so much boba! My friend had a similar complaint about her winter melon tea. When asked how it was, she responded, I don't know really, all I taste is the brown sugar boba. Also, the boba was pretty mediocre. If the boba was bomb (really good), I would be like, hey, there was a little too much boba but the drink was still good. But no, the amount of boba...
