Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Plano

When I moved to Texas over a year ago, I remember how friendly the staff was despite being visibly tired. Customer service was fantastic, and I always loved coming here.

In the last few weeks, both food quality as well as customer nervous has taken a dive as per my recent experiences.

I remember standing in line, and noticing one of the employees had a handful of the corn salsa in her gloved hand, ate it, then continued to serve people eith that same hand.

I remember after my bowl was created, 2 employees were chatting and laughing as I waited for one of them so I could pay. One of them noticed me, motioned to the other to go to the register, but he continued to speak to her. Finally, he came over, didn't even acknowledge me, I paid, and he shoved the bag towards me and walked off. This was a fairly slow time, not busy, so I was surprised and irritated by this treatment.

After a few additional instances of similar occurrence, it saddens me to say I will not be coming back to this location. I hope some improvements could be made at this location to prevent further occurrences of...

I use to come here all the time, I found a tiny piece of sharp bone while eating my chipotle bowl, the only reason i noticed it was because my teeth felt something hard while i was eating and i was not able to break it with my teeth. I took the piece out of my mouth a bit baffled and i sat and contemplated what to do next. I decided to be nice and at least be like "hey i found this in my food" so I went up to the counter and the employee called a manager over, the employee just took the piece of bone from my fingers and i heard the manager say "It looks like a toothpick" REALLY!? Y'ALL DON'T SELL TOOTHPICKS... YOU SELL FOOD!!! How in the world is this not scaring you!! I or any other customer could have choked and died from that "toothpick". All that was done was my food was remade with steak (which i couldn't finish because i was grossed out) and the employee just said "sorry" and nothing else. I decided to walk out. I'm never coming back to chipotle ever again... and i was a damn regular. This all happened on Dec 13th...

The most disappointing and disgusting Chipotle I have ever gone too. Not only was the food gross, the service was horrific. The lady at the register, not sure if her name is angel but that is the name on my receipt. She threw my salsa, guacamole and vinaigrette in my bag. I looked at her and then asked for my receipt. I did not see her put it in the bag so I looked in there. And with a nasty attitude she said "it's in there"! I politely told her to have a better day!

I sat down to eat my food, there were no napkins. I had 2 carnitas and 1 brisket tacos and all were disgusting. Normally carnitas is my favorite. It was like the used some weird seasoning, used too much and tried to wash the salty taste away with too much water.

They need customer service training, a new cook and better housekeeping.

Also the young man that was serving the food kept pushing his glass up on his face with his gloved hands, thank goodness he had to change them before my order because he got sour...
