8-1-24: Visiting this store has become incredibly and increasingly frustrating. Despite having 20-30 registers and self-checkouts on both ends, they only had one open register, (Register 1) and one open self-checkout area with 4 self-checkout registers, both on the grocery side and right next to one another. This meant a long walk for anyone parked on the home/pharmacy side as no registers were open on that side of the store, adding unnecessary hassle to the shopping experience. If the store can't manage its registers effectively, it would be better off with a smaller location or reconsidering its operations altogether. It is obvious that the Target management at this location is incompetent. If the management team can't handle running a store of this size, they should consider downsizing to a smaller, more manageable location. I will be contacting Target corporate over the extremely poor conditions of how this store is being poorly managed. ——————————— All these registers and they don’t get used. They need to be replaced with Self-Checkouts. Especially when they only have 8 self checkouts and one of the stations is out of order. It’s ridiculous how long it takes to checkout at Target šŸŽÆ. When Walmart has 50-60 self-checkouts to Targets šŸŽÆ 7.

Last Saturday, I went to target for one particular product from the No. 7 skincare line that I was running low on. As I was looking at the products, I noticed a fantastic sale. I was approached by a young Beauty employee named Sheridan. She immediately showed me the product I was looking for, but also pointed out the packed box sets. Before it was all said and done, I decided to hold off on purchasing the item I still have some left of until a bit later, and instead purchased a box set for myself, a set for college aged daughter, an acne treatment for both of us, a lift & firm serum, and a rapid tone repair product from Neutrogena. I was so excited by all the information she provided, that I returned to the store later that day and also purchased a microneedling tool and some Olay products on sale that included a facial scrub and day cream with sunscreen. Sheridan’s med spa knowledge was so refreshing and exciting that I can’t wait to use these products in my new routine and come back for more self-care and pampering products. Thank you Target and thank you Sheridan!

A big Target store with big selections in a clean environment. Enjoyed being able to shop peacefully during a weekday. Target is always adding new things and putting old, mismatched, or overstocked things on clearance at end caps of shopping aisles, so keep an eye out for savings beyond the weekly ads or your loyalty program. This visit I got half off a cute orange vase, bought an ice cube tray with storage bucket and scoop, and some other random things. It is always worth a stop if you have the time.

On 5/31/19: I originally was using the self check out. I was going about my business, scanning all my items when an employee out of no where just came and tapped my screen said ā€œtype in your number to save 1% cash back.ā€ And quickly walked off. I didn’t even get to see the person but was left with a screen I couldn’t get rid of. I finally figured it out and closed it. She/he walked back and proceeded to say ā€œI guess you don’t want to save.ā€ And quickly walked off again before I could even look or say something. I was in shock about the rudeness only I was receiving. The customer waiting in line couldn’t believe it either. I went on to use a gift card and my target app to finish paying. An error message was giving and the employee quickly approached. She/he said I HAD to upload the gift card to my app in order to use it in this transaction. I said to him/her that I’ve never had to do that ever before. He/she said ā€œwell if you know better, then do it your way.ā€ I was appalled and very close to losing it on this employee with the door knocker on his/her nose (pretty sure nose piercings might not be in the dress code.) I tried to upload my gift card to my app with no way of knowing. Meanwhile the line is growing at self checkout and this employee was no help. She/he finally came back and tried to take my phone out of my had to do it themselves. I said that I got an error message on the app. She/he says that I can’t use my gift card and to just pay with my app. I obviously refused. I told her she/he needed to get someone to help my at another checkout because I felt horrible for holding up such a big line. She/he got a lady to help. She asked what he happened. I let her know the whole story and she said she would get with that employee because none of the info that was told to me was correct. She apologized for the frustration I had to endure. I really appreciated her time and effort she made to try and make it right. Unfortunately, after walking out, I realized that one product I had purchased was scanned two times when I only got ONE. Of course after spending almost 20 minutes checking out, I was not going to go back in there. It’s very upsetting that after this whole trip to my favorite store, I had to encounter such a rude and mean person at the end of my trip. It left such a negative impact that I don’t even want to return to this location. And I hate that after all of that, I was charged twice and paid more than I had to for something I never purchased. Very...

This Target location in Plano, Texas, "has very bad" customer service at cashier checkout each time I visit. Especially yesterday when I visited. First, let me say, (I love Target) and the Target brand. ** However, I'm speaking up to the awful service I've experienced yesterday at this location. I went to grab a few items quickly on the grocery side I wanted to purchase.

  • While shopping, I noticed how some Target employees kept a close watch on me... SMH... I thought that was very odd. * And then, when I was ready to checkout, I had a lot of items, so I went to a cashier line who checked me out. The cashier "Did Not Greet"me, say hello, and just didn't say anything. ** The cashier stared at me very rudely. *With an over the top attitude. I had to speak, and I asked, "Are you having a bad day? I hope your day gets better. * The cashier was still so very rude. And 3. While the cashier was ringing up my food items, the cashier stopped scanning right in the middle of scanning my items and looked at me rudely. " I said please continue to ring up my items. I said I'm "purchasing all items here." The cashier stopped ringing up my items like I couldn't afford it or something... SMH... * (if that was the case, that's a very rude tactic to do to a customer). NOPE, NOT TODAY!!! I told the cashier, "Please continue to ring up my items ... " I'm not on no budget... no budgets here... smh.. *(And I have to say if some people are on budgets while shopping... that is fine, and there is nothing wrong with it.) * I work very hard in my profession every day, and I do well for myself.
  • What I'm not going to tolerate is rude customer service. * This location gets a thumbs down šŸ‘Žfor bad customer service. * Please TRAIN your employees better in dealing with (Diversity and providing excellent Customer Service) to all customers... no matter if the store employees may think the customer is a good or bad customer. Also, stores shouldn't rely on AI customer tracking services or apps to determine a customer's character ... because those services could be incorrect.
  • Always remember, to treat everyone fairly... because you never know who's walking into your store. *Having "Good Customer Service" can and does go a long way with customer...

I went to return some items. There was a young lady at the counter who appeared to be very comfortable with being rude and unprofessional working at the front counter. I’m asked to speak with a manager, cause I wanted to explain about food that I have been purchasing that has been molding or I don’t know if it was frozen and then thawed out then they put it back in the freezer. It’s just defective and she was rude and she also told me that the manager is going to tell me the same thing and I said well you can’t say that because you don’t know what it is and I’m, asking to speak with the manager about and I let her know that was very unprofessional so when she called the manager, the manager said she was with someone had me wait there which I did to see her and the representative then began to try to explain by saying exactly What the rude comment was that she said to me to the manager and then the manager said well that’s true not knowing what I wanted to talk to the manager about and the manager was on board with the unprofessionalism over open that I can hear what the manager saying in her tone and I can also absolutely hear what the customer service representative was saying in her tone so I sat there and I read your ratings and I see that I’m not the only person having these negative experiences at the store I have had The package that I paid for delivery for about five years or so maybe a little longer but I can promise you. This will be my last year once it expires at the end of this year. I will no longer be doing business with target because now they don’t care about their customers to the store and I was told that she would handle it and she would not help me to where I can file this complaint again....
