On 5/31/19: I originally was using the self check out. I was going about my business, scanning all my items when an employee out of no where just came and tapped my screen said ātype in your number to save 1% cash back.ā And quickly walked off. I didnāt even get to see the person but was left with a screen I couldnāt get rid of. I finally figured it out and closed it. She/he walked back and proceeded to say āI guess you donāt want to save.ā And quickly walked off again before I could even look or say something. I was in shock about the rudeness only I was receiving. The customer waiting in line couldnāt believe it either. I went on to use a gift card and my target app to finish paying. An error message was giving and the employee quickly approached. She/he said I HAD to upload the gift card to my app in order to use it in this transaction. I said to him/her that Iāve never had to do that ever before. He/she said āwell if you know better, then do it your way.ā I was appalled and very close to losing it on this employee with the door knocker on his/her nose (pretty sure nose piercings might not be in the dress code.) I tried to upload my gift card to my app with no way of knowing. Meanwhile the line is growing at self checkout and this employee was no help. She/he finally came back and tried to take my phone out of my had to do it themselves. I said that I got an error message on the app. She/he says that I canāt use my gift card and to just pay with my app. I obviously refused. I told her she/he needed to get someone to help my at another checkout because I felt horrible for holding up such a big line. She/he got a lady to help. She asked what he happened. I let her know the whole story and she said she would get with that employee because none of the info that was told to me was correct. She apologized for the frustration I had to endure. I really appreciated her time and effort she made to try and make it right. Unfortunately, after walking out, I realized that one product I had purchased was scanned two times when I only got ONE. Of course after spending almost 20 minutes checking out, I was not going to go back in there. Itās very upsetting that after this whole trip to my favorite store, I had to encounter such a rude and mean person at the end of my trip. It left such a negative impact that I donāt even want to return to this location. And I hate that after all of that, I was charged twice and paid more than I had to for something I never purchased. Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis Target location in Plano, Texas, "has very bad" customer service at cashier checkout each time I visit. Especially yesterday when I visited. First, let me say, (I love Target) and the Target brand. ** However, I'm speaking up to the awful service I've experienced yesterday at this location. I went to grab a few items quickly on the grocery side I wanted to purchase.
I went to return some items. There was a young lady at the counter who appeared to be very comfortable with being rude and unprofessional working at the front counter. Iām asked to speak with a manager, cause I wanted to explain about food that I have been purchasing that has been molding or I donāt know if it was frozen and then thawed out then they put it back in the freezer. Itās just defective and she was rude and she also told me that the manager is going to tell me the same thing and I said well you canāt say that because you donāt know what it is and Iām, asking to speak with the manager about and I let her know that was very unprofessional so when she called the manager, the manager said she was with someone had me wait there which I did to see her and the representative then began to try to explain by saying exactly What the rude comment was that she said to me to the manager and then the manager said well thatās true not knowing what I wanted to talk to the manager about and the manager was on board with the unprofessionalism over open that I can hear what the manager saying in her tone and I can also absolutely hear what the customer service representative was saying in her tone so I sat there and I read your ratings and I see that Iām not the only person having these negative experiences at the store I have had The package that I paid for delivery for about five years or so maybe a little longer but I can promise you. This will be my last year once it expires at the end of this year. I will no longer be doing business with target because now they donāt care about their customers to the store and I was told that she would handle it and she would not help me to where I can file this complaint again....
