I’ve been to this place a number of times and have had no complaints getting a watch band or battery replaced. Unfortunately, I took an antique pocket watch in today and am heartbroken.

I went to inquire about the cover which had difficulty closing. I asked them just to take a look at it and the saleswoman assured me they wouldn’t do anything until I came back because I needed to be given a quote.

When I returned, I was hurriedly told that the watchman broke something in the mechanism but if I closed the watch a certain way it was fine. I kept asking for clarity and the saleswoman just kept rushing me away and asking for payment for the other pieces I brought in. No apology; no offer to repair it. Now my 1800-era pocket watch is in need of a costly repair for a repair I didn’t authorize. Completely unacceptable.

My Tag watch battery died on the day I arrived here for a trip, so I looked this up on Google because it was near my hotel. It is a kiosk in the mall, which is not a problem for me. However, the employee looked at my watch and quoted $37! I think he saw the $1,200 watch and though he could take advantage of me. He said it was a diving watch and it would take 30+ minutes, mainly because the "gas pressurization process." I had the pleasure of meeting Cliff and his Wife today at the recommendation of a lady at JCPennys. I had a Gucci wrist watch that was 45 years old which I had not touched in a while. Fearful of the battery being corroded and not being able to use it again, I took it to Cliff. He was able to install a new battery and was ever so pleasant and wonderful to deal with.
