Panda Express — Restaurant in Pleasant Grove

I have always loved Panda but today I got incredibly unprofessional service. Yesterday I was out of my hometown at an event and googled the nearest Panda Express and called and placed an order and paid over the phone. When I got to the restaurant they didn't have my order and after a very long phone call they discovered that the number that was associated with their restaurant on google was for a different location. I then called that location and explained my situation and they said that because I was willing to work with them I could go in the next day (today) and get my meal and also one free meal because I was not able to leave to go to their location or else I would not make it to my event. Today before I left my house I called the restaurant that told me I could come get my meal and a free one to make sure they still had my info and they said they did and I could still get it. So I drove a half an hour to get the food, without any money because I had already paid for my meal and they were going to give me the second one free. When I got to the restaurant they told me I could no longer get it because they had issues me a refund. I am very frustrated and the store wouldn't work with me because they said that the manager that originally told me I could get my meal plus one wasn't the manager from that store but was just filling in. I am so disappointed with them for not even trying to work with me. And I couldn't even say I would pay for the original one because since I had originally paid I didn't bring...

A panda is a panda. It is kinda difficult to mess up a fast food chain when everything you are doing is already laid out you just have to follow the instructions. This establishment does a great job with the staff always being nice and efficient. Always clean and the staff do really well to get everyone’s order quickly and correct. The parking lot sucks, lots of blind spots and frequently gets jammed but that is more an issue with the facility they are located at not so much the restaurant themselves.

The only issue I have with the place is the bathroom. I’m sure it gets cleaned in the face the there was not things like toilet paper caked to the floor but it’s more that everything is sticky. The door is a wood and you can see the grease stains covering over half of the door. Once the door is closed the machinery in the kitchen make the walls vibrate which combined with the sticky film on the door creates a deafening noise. Some people like that in a bathroom to cover up embarrassing noises but this is a single person bathroom. The noise is so loud it’s difficult to think.

But the food is as expected and consistent. The staff is great and the restaurant is never too busy. Would/will eat...

I have to say this is by far the worst customer service I have received at a restaurant ever. I knew they closed at 9:30 I got off work at9:00 and walked thru their door at 9:11 waited in line got to order all the pans were empty except the orange chicken and dry up broccoli and rice and noodles. I asked for two orders of shrimp and the server Chris told me they were out and all they had was orange chicken and broccoli I asked if they could make some I would buy all they had to make and he said no we closeung in 15 minutes. I said I know but you are not closed yet he said all you can order is orange chicken or broccoli. I told him I work in a customer service position and I felt like getting there 19 minutes before they closed and being willing to buy all they had to make for a batch was fair. He said were not making saying for you if you want the orange chicken and broccoli you can. I asked if I could talk to a manager and he told me he was in charge. I will take my business to a store who wants it. Sad for Pleasant Grove we don't have many places to eat but the ones that last are ones with good customer service. I will never go back to Pleasant Grove Panda again I'll go where I am...
