I am absolutely thrilled to give Costa Vida in Pleasant Grove a glowing five-star review! This restaurant continues to exceed expectations, and their recent 20th-anniversary celebration was nothing short of extraordinary.
The collaboration with Jarritos, the beloved Mexican soda drink, for their 73rd anniversary was a stroke of genius. It added an extra layer of festivity to an already delightful dining experience. The combination of Costa Vida's delicious food with the iconic flavors of Jarritos created a culinary celebration that left me thoroughly impressed.
But the excellence at Costa Vida doesn't stop at their events – it extends to every aspect of their service. The kindness and warm reception from the manager and the entire team were truly heartwarming. It's evident that they take pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes every customer feel valued and appreciated.
And speaking of the food – it's simply fantastic! The flavors burst with authenticity, transporting my taste buds straight to Mexico. The quality and freshness of the ingredients shine through in every bite, and the attention to detail in each dish is a testament to Costa Vida's commitment to excellence.
The customer service at Costa Vida is exceptional. The staff's friendly demeanor, prompt service, and attention to detail create a dining experience that goes above and beyond. Whether I'm dining in or grabbing a meal to go, I always leave with a smile on my face.
In conclusion, Costa Vida in Pleasant Grove continues to be a culinary destination that consistently delivers excellence. Their recent collaboration with Jarritos and the 20th-anniversary celebration showcase their dedication to creating unforgettable experiences for their patrons. To the manager and the entire team, thank you for your kindness, delicious food, and exceptional customer service. Costa Vida remains a favorite for me, and I can't wait to keep coming...
Read moreUpdate: Avoid location if you have food allergies. The kitchen is cramped, staff has casual distepect for foodborne illness training. It wasn't dirty, but they were touching hair, faces, and pants then food -- and literally tossing tortillas to each other. I promised I'd give this location a fair shake in-person and did. Minus another star, and good luck.
Ordered delivery (via door dash) and specified "Gluten-Free Friendly Corn Tortillas". This is due to an allergy, but Costa Vida elects not to allow special requests or text messages of any kind, so for when the item is unavailable I choose "Cancel my entire order" to signify how important this is.
Food came with a giant flour tortilla (allergen, entire meal is contaminated and dangerous to eat), the wrong beans, and toppings I specified not to include. Straight to the garbage. Door Dash gave a partial refund, but probably doesn't even contact the restaurant.
First order I don't rate below three stars without gross negligence: -1 star: 3 mistakes in a single order. May have just sent the wrong container, so only -1. -1 star: inedible due to allegens. Pretty egregious, but they didn't know it was due to allergy because such can't be specified or communicated.
DoorDash, WTH. Recurring theme everywhere. Some of your competitors have the right idea.
I'll make my next order at this location in-person and...
Read moreAmazing service. Two dapper young men helped me out this afternoon. Bryson cooked my tortilla to PERFECTION. Then as he sprinkled the cheese like an angel pours blessings, I knew this meal would be one I'd never forget. I proceeded down the line like a child running for easter eggs. "PORK!" I yelled, "PORK." On my hands and knees, I begged the kind gentleman, Spencer, to put a bit more guacamole on and hooked me up like only a brutha can. Never have I seen such grace. This man dipped the scoop deeeep into the guac. As he pulled out the guacamole, my heart leapt. I felt as if I were a baby chicken, gazing up at my master's hand, longing for my food. He then hesitated. There sat my love, 1 inch above the bed of beans and rice. I fell over, begging, "Spencer..........please." The distinguished burrito patriarch smiled from cheek to cheek, and said, "My son......you are ready." With that, he poured out my salvation. The creamy avocado chunks mingled with the divine pork creating burrito bliss. I am eternally grateful to these young masters. They pack more love into a burrito, than I could even imagine. I took my burrito to go and got out in a quick 5 minutes. As I dipped my fork into the smothered burrito, my fork turned gold, and I heard Beyoncé, saying.....come home. A truly magical experience. Thank you, Bryson...
