Pleasanton, CA Macys Furniture Gallery. WOW! A spacious, immaculate setting to walk through and browse the rooms and rooms of furniture samples, staged to easily enhance my shopping experience. The best overall shopping experience ever by the way!!! It began on August 21, 2024. My Customer Sales Representative, Greg, at the Macys Furniture Gallery, Pleasanton, Ca was the perfect example of superior, Customer Service. Greg is knowledgeable, reliable, trustworthy and provided complete care througout the shopping experience. His suggestions were priceless throughout the whole process. Greg told me about the "White Glove" Services which offers an experienced team to deliver, set up, assemble any of my furniture, to remove all the packing material, leaving you and to enjoy the brand new furniture just built by Macys for you! This service add-on along with a coverage package for damage to furniture over the years is fantastic and worth every penny! Greg was in contact every few weeks to ensure me that all was in order and moving forward with regards to my furniture build. I was so excited to hear from Greg to tell me that the next texts and emails would be from the Macys "White Glove" Services Team with the date & time window of delivery! From the very first time we met for my shopping experience, through explaning the process of my furniture being built, the accuracy of the time frame was all truthful, accurate and exactly how Greg described it would be. Greg has been a blessing. The ultimate, great experience was shopping and buying my housefull of furniture with Greg, and the "White Glove" Services Crew from Macys Furniture Gallery, Pleasanton, CA. I highly recommend you see what is in store, for your next furniture shopping needs! Thank you all! Your Customer, Laurie Nipper,...
Read moreI am writing to express my deep disappointment with the service I've received from Macy's furniture department. Despite placing an order, I have not received any email updates regarding the status of my shipment for almost 3 weeks. When I called for assistance, I was informed that even your representatives were unsure when the item would arrive at your warehouse from the vendor.
It is incredibly frustrating that no one can provide me with a clear timeline. I have been left completely in the dark about my order. Additionally, when I asked to cancel the order, I was told that a cancellation request was submitted, but if the shipment goes out before it’s processed, I would have to refuse the delivery in person. This is completely unacceptable. Am I expected to wait for the delivery, only to send it back myself? What about the time I’ve wasted waiting without being able to purchase furniture elsewhere?
Macy's was not my first choice for furniture, but I chose to order a specific piece that I liked. Now, I regret that decision. The level of service I’ve experienced has been beyond disappointing.
I will be leaving reviews across various platforms to warn others about this poor customer service experience. I sincerely hope that Macy's takes action to improve its processes so that other customers do not go through the same...
Read morePurchased a sectional, and was told that since I was going the custom route, I’d have to wait 8 weeks to receive the furniture. No problem, as I was getting something I truly loved, and we’re in the midst of a global pandemic. The couch was delivered two months later and I immediately called Macy’s as the sofa was delivered with shoe marks all over it, a hole in the back, and pilling cushions. Macy’s was extremely apologetic and told me someone would come out to “investigate” before they did an exchange. The person who came to investigate shared that he’s not at all surprised by my dissatisfaction, as it looked like the couch had been quite used. Long story, but Macy’s told me I’d need the current couch picked up before they could exchange, which I can understand. They came and picked up the couch 2 days later. They’ve somehow lost the couch and will not issue me refund, as they claim I’m still in possession of the furniture. This has been since August, so I hope I can save at least one person the headache of dealing with both the associates/management at this location, as well as at Macy’s corporate. Unfortunately, Macy’s has been fighting my bank (very well) and my bank is saying I have no choice but to eat...
