Murphy's Paw — Local services in Pleasanton

I highly recommend Murphy's Paw! We only buy our dog food here. Caro is amazing- she has helped me find raw food that is allergen-free for our goldendoodle who has multiple allergies. When her food was backordered, Caro helped me find alternatives which was a huge timesaver for me! She even checked with a large chain store to see if they had it in stock. They did and I bought a bag there, but when I opened the package it had severe freezer-burn and I had to return it. I never had that issue with frozen food from Murphy's Paw- probably because she orders it often, being a small business, and it is fresher. I won't go to a large chain store again.

We love that buying from Murphy's Paw means supporting a local small business. I would rather put money into a local business, which ultimately stays in our community, than a large corporation.

Highly recommend this amazing store! We’re watching our friend’s two dogs for a few weeks and ran out of food. They only eat Steve’s Real Food (frozen raw). Steve’s website had a list of stores that sell their product, but no one had it in stock. As a last ditch effort, I scanned the list of stores and thought I’d try “Murphy’s Paw” for good luck because the dogs we’re watching are named Murphy & Marley. Awesome pet store! Located in downtown Pleasanton, there’s a lot of street parking. I came here to buy a birthday biscuit for my little dog! It was about $5.95 for 1, and it comes in blue & pink color. My dog liked it! (not love though) this biscuit is fairly big so took him a while to finish.

This store also has great treats, clothes, harnesses, food & even cat marijuana!

Overall good store with good selection & nice staff! They even have food samples too for people...
