I started with Uncanny because the place in Lansdale, Royal Comics closed and I didn't have a comic store for a comic pool. At first it seemed cool. The manager there was very helpful and she had someone help me start my pool. It went great for a while, but then they started to miss things in my pool. When I told one one employees I wanted the Tie-Ins of a comic book series. He said, will put them in my pool, because we do that with tie-ins anyway. As he was telling me this it look like he was rolling a dice and making up a game plat or something. My wife and son was even a wittness to this. Come the day to pickup my comics the tie-ins were not in my pool and they didn't haveany extra. Basiclally I was SOL. It just seems every one that works there are more into the games then the comics. It's like that the only thing they know about comics is whats in the movies or on TV. When I was going to "Uncanny" and it was called "Comics and More" in King of Prussia Plaza(Mall) back in 1987 in was a great place. Now it just seems they just want to sell a comic shirts, mugs, key-chains, wallet, posters and what ever else they can put a hero or villians logo on. If you want to get in comics go to your small comic store nereast to you. Youl'll be better off. Just a reminder I'm very easy going and I always give places five stars because it's very had to upset me. I just had to give them...
Read moreWorst store ever. Took advantage of me being new to Magic and sold me a booster box at retail pack price. Huge problem. I found the box significantly cheaper at Brave New World in Horsham. When I tried to return the box they refused to take the return only store credit. I asked to price match the realistic price I paid elsewhere to be satisfied and I was told "the supplier raised their prices on us" which is a load of garbage. I work in retail. That stuff does happen but not causing the same item to cost $106 at one place and $153 at another. This store is shady which makes me crazy especially in an industry where a lot of the customers are under 15. I'm an adult and they screwed me over. Can't imagine what they're doing to the kids. Worst shop in the area. Shop elsewhere and support a better customer experience. Don't shop online though. Support local. Just not this...
Read moreWe visited today because we were visiting the Lego store at the mall and my son and husband love comics. Upon entering the store it was quite dark and that was a bit off putting. However, they had an excellent selection of merchandise...from T-Shirts to memorabilia to action figures, it was a great assortment. Then we got to the comics.... HOLY COW! They had TONS upon TONS of comics. I could care less, but my kid and hubby went nuts. They were in comic heaven! We are from the Richmond, VA area and so I can only compare prices to what we would pay here, but the prices on everything (except the comics) were quite high. That may just be the going price for that area though. The guy working was very pleasant also. Overall, if you like comics and comic related stuff, check out this store. You won't be...
