It was such an awful experience. I called the hotel which I booked it for my employees and there were bedbugs and very conveniently front desk person said manager is not there and asked me to call in the morning. The way she respond to my complaint I didn’t feel it right so I decided to call the corporate. I created a case with them and after hanging up the call with the corporate within 10 minutes, I got a call from the hotel saying she’s the manager and her name is Kim and I asked her. I was told that you were not on duty and she goes my staff didn’t know that I was on lunch break and this all was around 4:30 PM. My employees had to leave early in the morning around 4 AM and 6 AM and they won’t return until 6 PM or 7 PM so they couldn’t speak with someone and complain about it Then I sent her the pictures of the bedbugs and she goes this in not our bedsheets. And then she claims my employee checked out around noon on Sunday, which is impossible because she was at my store at 4:30 AM. I even sent her the Uber receipt showing they left early in the morning. And then she goes whatever the case might be this is not our bed sheet. She was just making one excuse after the other. I asked my employees to send me the picture of the time and the day you took the pictures of the bedbugs so I could prove that they were in the hotel and that still did not convince her and kept denying that these are not their bedsheets. She was supposed to call me back next day, which she never did. What a shame that being a property manager instead of fixing the problem you just keep making excuses one after the other. Bedbugs is a very common issue in hotel industry which I know of, but the fact that they kept denying and kept making excuses is what pissing me off. I spent $250 for two nights for my employees to sleep on this bedbugs. Waiting for a callback from their district manager and sorry, kim (property manager) you made this entire experience even more sour then it was. Not sure how else you want me to prove it that these bedbugs were found in...
Read moreFirst room we were put in was above a laundry that literally shook the floor in our room until we were nauseous. We had to be moved. Our new room was completely filthy especially the kitchen. The staff was the most unfriendly bunch EVER. I paid for a room & was treated as if I were a burden with every call. The first call was for batteries in the remote, I was told I had to wait until next day when maintenance came in. Next call was over bouncing room, entire room bounced we thought the was an earthquake, we went in hallway and the bouncing stopped about 2 rooms down so we knew it wasn't. Once room was moved I went to cook in kitchen no cookware. All other Extended Stays were have stayed at everything is in the room. I was told that "is never the case" you have to call & ask for what you need. These items were brought up 20 minutes later which after the move , my having to scrub their kitchen etc... it is now almost 10:30 PM!! The bathroom smelled like pure mildew! The hotel advertises free continental breakfast starting at 6 AM until 9 AM my husband went down at 7 AM before he left for business, no breakfast. I had to cook for him luckily I had brought something to cook. I went at 8 AM since I had only brought enough eggs for one person, still no breakfast, I called front desk & staff that answered said breakfast was there served from 6 to 8 AM. I said no it isn't we have been down several times the has been no food. She got so angry at me telling me she was General manager and just walked in the door but would put the food out, it is now 8:05 AM. Over 2 hours after breakfast was supposed to start. I was finally able to get my muffin & some oatmeal but not before the staff acted like they were doing me a favor. We stayed another night in PA but not at your hotel we moved to a Candlewood that was AMAZING!! We travel A LOT this Extended Stay America was the worst hotel we have ever...

You know, I paid $303.03 for two nights, so no, I didn't get what I paid for exactly. But where do I begin,...
Our door didn't close right. The latch gets stuck on the inside therefore the door doesn't secure. We had to manually pull out the latch (see pics) for it to be "unstuck" every time we walked out.
The place is filthy, there are dead bugs everywhere (see pics again) and it smells as if we were staying in smokers row! Not for the faint hearted.
I sleep with a medical device (CPAP). Woke up this morning suffocating as if I was being choked only to realize that my CPAP was off. This was about 7am and our room was hot as if someone had turned up the heater. Well, apparently our room's power went out. No electricity, no power, no CPAP, no AC, no lights. Go figure.
My buddy and I go downstairs and request to speak to the manager of which she walks out looking like a very unwelcoming felon (Kim) and tells us that "there is nothing that we can do about your experience and you're more than welcome to look elsewhere". She accused us of being hostile and basically told us to go F ourselves. Once again, THAT WAS THE MANAGER!
We were so appalled, we basically went back to our room, packed up and made our way to the Homewood Suites up the road. Feel free to check out the 5 star review I'll be leaving them for their generous hospitality and amazing customer service! Contacted corporate, phone automatic operator informs you to call back Monday during business hours and hangs up. Great. Reporting this business to the Better Business Bureau next.
