Must Must Must!! If you are an Ice cream person, this is michigan must visit place. If you are not an Ice-cream person, you definitely must go here, you will change your mind and turn into one.. This is an old fashioned mom and pop kind of ice cream shop. My favorites here. HOT FUDGE CREAM PUFF... the name says it all. Puffy bun stuffed with cream and Ice-cream flavor of your choosing. Topped with sanders or regular hot fudge syrup.. it’s a sin.. I know.. save if for a celebration.. :) They make their own waffle cones, if you request they give you the freshly made warm one.. wow.. crispy... By far my favorite ice cream place in michigan. The place gets busy busy busy, they have some parking, and plenty of street parking. They have window service (seasonly) and year round indoor service.. The staff is friendly and sweet. Definitely sample everything. 😜

Dairy King is THE ice cream place in Plymouth. One thing that I really like about Dairy King is that I can get a split single cone so I can have/try two different flavors of ice cream. Not everywhere that I’ve been allows this, so, it’s pretty awesome that Dairy King does! There’s a great variety of ice creams and a lot of different options to get. My go to is a split single in a waffle cone! Split Single Chocolate Peanut Butter and Moose Tracks in a waffle cone: pretty solid combination! I love peanut butter so anything peanut butter is always a solid choice in my opinion. I usually prefer vanilla ice cream to chocolate, but, the Chocolate Peanut Butter combination is pretty solid. Moose Tracks is a classic so you can never go wrong with that!

I did not try the hard serve ice cream (which I hear is very good) but I did try the soft serve and it was very good. I had a flurry and the candy was mixed in perfectly so I had some in every bite. There are a lot of options for ice cream, shakes, flurries and sundaes. The staff was very friendly and efficient. It is nice that they have inside seating if you want to get out of the weather.

Recently, I had an unfortunate experience while visiting this establishment. Upon approaching the window and trying to initiate a friendly conversation with one of the workers, I was met with an unexpected and aggressive response. I greeted the staff member with a simple "Hello, how are you?" and followed up with a standard question, asking for a recommendation. To my surprise, the worker responded in a loud and confrontational manner, "Are you that guy", which left me feeling uncomfortable and taken aback. I believe my question was a normal and polite inquiry, deserving a more composed and friendly response. The overall atmosphere of a place greatly impacts a customer's experience, and this incident certainly marred my perception of the establishment. It is essential for employees to maintain a level of professionalism and courtesy towards patrons, regardless of any previous encounters they...
