Very honest! I took my yellow gold wedding band and engagement ring in to be electroplated with rhodium, which makes the rings look like platinum. I'd had them done at Plymouth Jewelry one other time and was thrilled with the results. They were very shiny and white and I got many compliments on them, but after more than a year, the rhodium had worn off. My rings were done in a day or two and I was very pleased with the fact that they also checked to make sure the stone settings were secure a no extra charge. However, after getting my rings home, I noticed they still had a very slight, yellowish gleam to them, like they hadn't been in the rhodium solution long enough. I took them back about 5 days later, expecting resistance since I couldn't find my receipt. The jeweler took one look and said "Yeah, that's not right!" and re-did them for me at no charge. Turns out that, occasionally, the rhodium solution will become contaminated by a trace amount of chemicals on someone's rings (like, for example, a hairdresser's or dentist's rings) and it makes the solution not work properly any more. Kevin helped my husband create an engagement ring that was exactly what I was looking for. We came back again to purchase the wedding bands and again were helped with creating a custom wedding band. Everything we've bought has had exceptional value and very high quality....

They proceeded to say it wasnât their fault and didn't offer to fix the ring. After some back and forth, they finally offered to put a $15 stone in its place and even made the remarks that it wasnât set right originally which is untrue because its been checked recently. I would be very cautious with doing business here and personally will not be returning. The owner and setter were very rude and not sympathetic with the situation and...
