Q hair studio is incredibly unprofessional, unsafe and reckless. Many visits during the pandemic when their was a mask mandate, many employees were not wearing a mask, social distancing, or wearing a mask incorrectly. Every time I walked into the salon, no receptionist or the nail tech said hello or greeted me. I had to awkwardly walk around or yell across the floor to get my stylist's attention to let her know I had arrived. The salon is always hot, and even after mentioning something to my stylist and receptionist, it always was steaming. I have left the salon many times covered in sweat. Multiple times I would walk past the thermostat and it would be 74' degrees in the salon. Multiple stylists always complained and gossiped, presenting a very toxic environment. I even noticed a stylist badmouthing the stylist who was doing my hair, while next to me. When it comes to changing appointments or rescheduling, I always had to contact my stylist directly. I once went an entire month without the salon contacting me about rescheduling after the stylist had to cancel. Finally, when it reached out to my stylist, she apologized profusely and did what she could to get me in the books, when it was the salons job to contact me. Several stylist I've walked past, reeked of alcohol (whether from the night before or drinking on the job). Not to mention many cursing up a storm and talking unprofessionally. Came in for a color correction with Samantha. She talked to me extensively about what I wanted to achieve and what was able to be done in one session. She came up with a game plan and made sure I was completely comfortable before beginning. I am SO HAPPY with my results! Sam walked me through the proper ways to maintain my hair between visits and the products I should use. She was well versed in the color line and shared tons of information on how the products would effect my hair. It came out beautifully and exactly how I wanted it to look. Leza has been my hairdresser for over 15 years! She’s a color expert and can work with any hair type! I have very thick-highlighted hair and her color/highlight work is truly amazing. Her blowout is amazing and lasts me for nearly a week. Leza does amazing updos for weddings and special occasions. She’s very creative but classy and settle with her work.
