Meridian Coffee Co. — Restaurant in Plymouth

First time coming here and had a really bad experience. I came in and the gentleman working today was very nice and sweet at first but became rude and unprofessional afterwards. I ordered my drink "for here" in a mug" I then went into the bathroom as I'm pregnant and felt a bit nausea which happens randomly during my pregnancy. I come back out of the rest room after 5-7mins or so with the gentleman saying "we don't have seats so I went ahead and put your drink in a to-go cup have a nice day" I was confused. Yes they became full fairly fast but I paid for a drink "for here" and I came into the cafe first. I asked if he could please make my drink in a mug as the smell of to-go cups have started to urk me during the course of my pregnancy and I did not mind standing and having my drink. He was being extremely rude by stating he can't do that and basically wanted me to take the half full drink he made me and just leave. I then asked for a refund because if I could not enjoy my drink while there the way I paid to have it peacefully I didn't want to do business there. He did give me my refund for the drink with much hesitation and no apology back but kept the tip I left. He then offered me to keep the drink in the to-go cup which I declined because of the smell of to-go cups and being kicked out of cafe because I was in the restroom and all seats had been taken when I got out just made me lose all interest in doing business with this...

First time visiting & it is such a cute place! I love that they have plenty of outside seating and indoor too. Their menu is extensive and I love that you can get a variety of items from non-caffeinated drinks to matcha, coffee, lattes, and can make them iced/hot. I did look at the drink menu before walking in because I didn't know what to expect. They also have a great selection of pastries from sweet to savory that they offer for you to get toasted. I got the meridian spring time chai latte & basil and feta pastry. The drink was slightly sweeter for my liking but it had both vanilla and lavender so that's a given. Doesn't taste floral at all but I did try something out of my usual which is anything coffee. The pastry was huge and flaky. I'll definitely try a hot or iced...
