2/29/24 first time, last time. The man working didn’t seem pleased I arrived right at opening and made me feel like my guitar or my business wasn’t wanted there.

Went in to ask about a quote for an acoustic setup ($90 + strings) and a glue repair job. I was told the only fix was to take the body off and totally repair it because the guitar was too dry to work on.

I explained how I bought it used about 6 months ago, I’m newer to the instrument and he stopped our conversation to talk on the phone for 5 minutes. (Seemingly getting reprimanded by his boss)

I also wanted to buy a case for it and he referred to me another business with the same ownership. I’m not driving another 30 minutes one way out of my way to support y’all when you couldn’t help me here.

THE MUSIC BOX saved me!!!

With Father's Day right around the corner, I was going to invest money in fixing a cheap 3/4 bass that I grabbed at a yard sale. The first store I took it to was willing to let me waste my hard earned money, MICK at THE MUSIC BOX saw that the guitar was not worth the repairs and told me! I greatly appreciated the HONESTY and instead I invested in a stunning EPIPHONE (which being a guitar expert, I called an EPIPHONY) ;-D. Following MICK's direction I bought a REALLY BIG bow and gave it too my dad for Father's Day. He was sooo shocked he just stared at it. He was not expecting it, and he LOVES it!!

Don't have any repairs done at this place, they're out to ripe you off. I brought a 1940's lap steel to have a jack replaced and before I knew it the pick up was replaced without my knowledge. And SURPRISE the old pickup wasn't include when I went pick it up. When I did ask about it I was told only the magnet was saved. We're talkin a historic pickup, one of the first ever manufactured, it was replaced without my permission and supposedly destroyed without me being shown. If this was an innocent mistake, I'm Muddy Waters. Never do business with these...
