We tried to go bowling here on Monday 22JAN2023, the elderly man at the counter was rude to me and my uncle. First off, when we were getting up to the front, this guy (he has blonde hair and glasses) was talking to a much younger lady that worked there, and essentially ignored us for like 30 seconds. My uncle tried to be nice and said “We won’t be that difficult, we just want to bowl three lanes.” He turned to us and started to ring it up, but when my uncle brought his debit card out, the guy looked at him and said “we only take cash.” Completely understandable, so my uncle went to withdraw money from the ATM. While he was doing that, I noticed that it was cheaper to bowl if you showed the attendee your military ID. But when I showed the man my military ID, at first he asked me if I was with my uncle, and when I said yes he flat out told me: “well he didn’t give me anything so..” …He was literally withdrawing money from the ATM, 2 feet away from the counter. He was going to pay you so I was hoping that when we DID pay, it was cheaper. So I told him this, and showed him my military ID. It took him around 4-5 seconds to actually look at it while it was on the counter, but after enough staring, he picked up my ID and started to say my name in a sing-songish mockingly fashion which really annoyed me. What was the point? Anyways, turned out the ATM was out of order after waiting there for about 3 minutes on this screen- “Please wait: Reversal”, so I just told my uncle that it wasn’t worth it and we flat out left.
Now, I completely understand that this man probably had a long night, like if I had to deal with a bunch of families, people that have been drinking, or people that came there to, you guessed it, have a good time, and I was stuck handing people shoes and trying to make small talk to every single guy that came in, I would not be very enthusiastic. But he should’ve had a better attitude. Why work in a family-friendly environment when you’re acting like all you want to do is go...
Read moreAt first, I was extremely hopeful to have found this place. But after the way, my older teens were treated by the cooking staff along with the consistent breakdown of their lane, we all left irritated. I don't understand adults who treat youth like they are not responsible or pre-adults. My kids were left frustrated and sad by their treatment by the adults at this establishment. I bought 3 games. Upon my return, I witnessed they hadn't even finished their 2nd game after 2 hours and the lane broke down EVERY 5 mins over 40 I was sitting there...until we finally just had all had enough. I don't Karen out on places like this I just sit back and watch how they choose to conduct themselves. Which teaches my kids tolerance but also to not support a clueless business. I couldn't believe after the 25th time they had to fix my kid's lane THEY NEVER OFFERED to put them on another lane. Nothing. Obviously WE decided to leave and not even start the 3rd game. I just can't stand for adults who can justify treating youth like their time doesn't matter because they are young and can't advocate for themselves as much yet. My 17-year-old daughter, who looks young for her age, and my other boys were there for my nephew's birthday celebrations. Now sadly, I will only be sharing this experience. Too many other places to go to have this...
Read moreShowed up midday on a Saturday to go bowling with friends and family and was hoping to beat the leagues later that night. Waited for 45 minutes with half the lanes dark and not being used so I'm not sure what the wait was for. All of a sudden the lanes start filling up with new groups of people. Someone threw away the paper with our name and wait time on it so we were skipped over. We planned to do the 3 games for 10.49 on 2 lanes. Come to find out that is 10.49 per person not per lane but it doesn't state thay anywhere in person or online. After waiting for 45 minutes we paid $65 for 2 lanes and 8 people to bowl. Way more than we anticipated to spend since we wanted to do the 3 games for 10.50. Not really a cost effective place to go and I feel like they charge alot. For as busy as they are, they could still make a large profit with lower, more family friendly prices. Overall was not impressed to be waiting that long and not be told the price to begin with and be looked over for a lane. My friend got food too, 2 burgers, a quesadilla, tater tots and a pitcher of soda and a soft pretzel. She spent about the same amount in food as we did on bowling. Nor sure how families can afford to do...
