Office Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Pocatello

Expect a younger college crowd mixed in with some locals and other bar hoppers. DJ can be a hit or miss. They don’t transition music very well and can’t really read the room, or maybe they refuse to read the room and play whatever they want. But their main target is young college students and I feel like they usually dance to anything if they’re drunk enough. But really, to make the Office better, just hire the DJs from Clydesdale or something. I look up at the DJs here and there, and they’re not actively ‘DJing’ to ‘feel’ the crowd. They don’t actively engage the crowd or anything…they are just a playlist shuffler here. I’m a little critical because this is supposed to be one of the better bars. The bussers, bartenders, bouncers, security, etc. are all friendly professional people. If you want to actually ‘dance-dance’ it really depends on the night I guess. I would usually recommend Clydesdale for dancing but that’s closing down. Somehow, one way or another this place will try to fill the dancing gap left by Clydesdale. I’m hopping that night was just a dud and they actually have some DJs that can get the crowd hyped and dancing for hours on end. Not trying to bash the bar, we’re in a small town, and I can only hope for its success but we can’t see improvement unless we provide...

The staff here seemed friendly the last few times I've been here and the bouncers here never give me any problems here either unlike a couple of other places in Poky. While this isn't the best bar i've been to this is not only one of the better ones in Pocatello but it's far better than some of the others such as Clydesdale especially. The inside of the bar is clean and nice since it's been renovated. Do love the fact they started having outside parking lot parties on the weekends with a DJ on the rooftop as well as long as weather permits. I'm surprised with all of this is that this place usually isn't busier than it was when I was here since I feel The Office has a lot of potential. I do feel however the drink prices here are a little on the pricey side for Pocatello standards plus one thing I would like to see The Office consider doing is having drink specials like on beer or AMFs on the weekends and also having them at least go like till 11 pm plus I feel this would help pull more people to this bar from their competitors such as Clydesdale. While I like the party scene in bigger cities like Boise myself if I were to recommend a place for someone to go to dance or chill that may be in Pocatello and that doesn't want to leave town The Office would be one of my top...

I do stop by by here once in awhile since this is one of the better bars that has dancing and a DJ in Poky. This bar can be hit and miss as far as crowd size is concerned. I haven't tried their food yet so can't comment there but their drink prices are a little higher than most other bars in Poky. While the building is a little smaller than I like I do like that druing the months that the weather is decent that they have the back parking lot area blocked off to have outside dancing and a DJ on the weekends along with places to sit and chill outside and have a few drinks as well. The staff here for the most part is friendly and chill. It is a bummer they don't have more places inside the building to sit and chill to maybe take a break from dancing duing the months the outside isn't open but with the building not being very big its understandable. While this isn't my favorite bar in Idaho and is one of the better ones in Pocatello I definitely would reccomend this place over their competitors like Clydesdale Bar and...
