Came here for the first time today with my five year old. We were walks and were told there was a 25 minute wait. No problem because it’s a Saturday and we didn’t have an appointments. Once we were brought to the back I began to notice the half worn out decor and the pedicure chairs are old and very uncomfortable. The lady was nice and started the water but stated she needed to go have lunch. I was fine with that as I understand those situations and was in no rush. As I waited I noticed they had a kids pedicure chair. So when she came back I asked if we could move so my son could get a pedicure in that chair where he could reach because he also wanted one. She had applied some sort of mask and powder to my water, which I’ve usually always gotten the mask after they’ve begun the pedicure so i thought that seemed rushed. She said they could do his pedicure and began to start mine, I stopped her and said no we want to move so he can sit in the kids chair and i sit next to him. She asked if we both wanted to move and I said well of course he’s not sitting on the other side of the salon without me??? She began to say the chairs next to the kids chair are broken, although I just saw a woman get out of one while she was in the back having her lunch. So this led me to believe she didn’t want to have to start my pedicure over as I mentioned she had added powder to water already. She begin to get very frustrated and to be honest after the decor and the prices and what I could feel in my gut was about to be a terrible service I got up and said well leave and go somewhere else. Then she said we needed to pay for the service and I said for what? The water? And she said yes, and i asked how much she wanted me to pay and she said $10. For WATER. I laughed and said ok, after waiting behind two other angry customers paying, I put $2 on the counter and left. I’ll never be back. We’ll drive to central Orlando before over paying for terrible service, lazy service, and employees who lie and would let a mother have to sit across from her 5 year old in a busy salon to...
Read moreI went to this place for the second time since the first time I had a good experience and my nails looked great. I had SNS ombre done and it was $75 plus tip so almost $90 (for just hands), which was much more than what I normally pay and come to think of it was never told the price. I am used to paying $45 to $55 for SNS. Even if the technique is more complex, should I be paying $20 more? But my nails looked great so I decided to go back. This time I asked for the same technique but to make the color more pink. He started filing my nails and I asked him if he's going to soak it off. He said he doesn't do that for ombre. I said it's a new color so shouldn't he do that? Then I showed him the pink I wanted, and he told me that the color I showed him was gray. I then showed him a picture of nails with gray, he said it was purple. I asked if he was color blind. He was being unusually difficult. I’ve never had a manicurist be so disagreeable. He then just swiped some powder with the purple liquid used for ACYCRLIC and charged me $45 dollars for that. You can still see my nail bed where he filed the new growth of my nail and the nail is thick and bumpy. Normally a whole new set of SNS would be $45. This place is overpriced, staff difficult to deal with and unapologetic. I won't be going back, and I know they don't care but I write this review to display this salon's lack of customer service and price gouging. I am giving this place my money, I should get what I am paying for. I am not going to name the manicurist, but he was not nice and nonchalant. There are other nail salons in this community that can I patronize. This place ain't it. Do...
Read moreUsually I’m very choosy on when I want to leave reviews… not so positive reviews at that. But I have to share my experience here. This place is about less than 10 mins from me so that sounds like convenience but it’s absolutely not if the service is terrible. Everyone has to make a living but the customer service here is very lackluster. I visited on Sunday, February 5th around 5:20PM. Just a note that they close at 6PM. Still no reason for the service I received. I was serviced by a lady named Jessica with the help of an older man. I did not get his name. The lady, Jessica, made small talk with me however, my pedicure felt VERY rushed and the older man who assisted her in painting my nails, did not do a good job. Neither did she. She did not file my toes evenly nor did she make sure they were same length. After the guy finished my feet, he didn’t provide the slip on sandals nor did he finish with moisturizing my feet. They even were making side comments about another group of women while working on my feet, which rubbed me the wrong way. The treatment I got was absolutely the worst service I’ve received in a nail salon. I came here to relax and pamper myself on a Sunday & it turned out to be the complete opposite of that. The pictures...
