i will elevate this to corporate but i hope the ladies who work here see this as well, because i want you showered with accolades and im not being dramatic.
i live in the area and was so excited to see this open. at first i couldnât get down any aisle- for context i am a service dog handler and a wheelchair user. i couldnât shop. i was approached by an employee while struggling to access an item for help, i declined but did ask to speak to someone, a lady right behind me introduced herself as the manager and this is something in retrospect i wish i gathered her name.
i explained i am struggling to shop because the aisles arenât appropriately spaced. they took this and was so nice and i often approach buisinesses and explain if i see an accessibility issue and i rarely hear back and nothing ever changes.
i went the last few weekends and i was able to shop for the first time independently at a tj maxx store in my wheelchair. i cried. i bought such nice clothes and i needed them. it was so nice and i am so impressed with the changes to the store, idk if it was me saying something or just good store management but thank you.
in addition, as iâve stated, we have been in a few times. i also wish i gathered this clerks name but she has worked the last two weekends on the register on the far right on sundays. she remembers us and us so nice to every single one of us from me to my 11 year old kiddo.

Read moreI recently visited TJ Maxx and had a fantastic experience at the checkout line, all thanks to a remarkable store associate named Leilani M. From the moment I approached her register, Leilani made me feel welcomed and at ease with her friendly demeanor and genuine smile.
What truly stood out was how quickly she built rapport with me. Within seconds, she was engaging in light-hearted conversation, asking me about my shopping experience and sharing her own favorite finds in the store. It felt less like a transaction and more like chatting with a friend. Her positive energy was infectious and made the wait in line a delightful part of my shopping trip.
Leilaniâs efficiency combined with her warm personality created a standout customer service experience. Itâs rare to encounter an employee who genuinely enjoys their job and goes the extra mile to make customers feel special. I left the store not only with my purchases but also feeling like Iâd had a personal interaction that brightened my day.
Thank you, Leilani M., for your exceptional service! You are a true asset to the TJ Maxx team, and I look forward to my next visit, hoping to...

The special cashier that processed my purchase at the regular checkout area needs more training in packaging ASAP. I bought 4 stackable ceramic Winnie the Pooh cups in a holder. This item is 14 inches long and very fragile. The cashier used ONE sheet of paper thatâs approximately 20 square inches to wrap the cups before placing it into a bag. I asked her to please use more paper because I donât want it to chip. She added just one more sheet. I cannot find a name on the receipt, but it was on 05/21/2024 at 14:22:22...
