Panda Express — Restaurant in Poinciana

Panda Express is finally open in Poinciana!

There has been a lot of excitement for Panda Express to open in the area. This Panda Express is located in the new shopping center by TD Bank, T.J. Maxx, & Burlington.

We didn't attend the opening day, but the following day. Instantly, you can tell how busy it was based on the volume of customers in the parking lot.

This Panda Express is upgraded with many of the latest features that other locations do not have. There is eye-popping art all through the dining establishment & on the exterior of the building.

We were greeted by two team members when we walked in. They gave us menus which is was a first at a Panda Express location, but we thought it was a neat gesture.

When you stand in line, it's the standard process that Panda Express provides where you pick your base & your main options.

The prices seem to differ at each Panda Express location. This one seemed to be on the higher end of the chains from my previous experiences.

I chose my usual option, a plate, which I got the fried rice, orange chicken, & Beijing beef. The portions were more than generous & I was quite happy with what I received. The food was fresh. The staff was working extremely hard due to the volume of customers. They were able to resupply the stations in a quick manner.

The staff was very kind. They seemed a but stressed but had a smile on their face while serving everyone.

I'll be back soon enough since we have family in the area, but it's great to have another dining option in the area that provides great service & a quick option for to-go food.

Bonus: they do not have plum sauce on this...

This Panda is still not ready for prime time. Went inside for dinner on 9-23-2024. They were out of noodles but waited for the new batch to be done. They got the order right, but they had a problem with a woman's larger order at the cash register. Basically, the cashier, manager and workers couldn't figure out where all of her order was and how to resolve the issue. As a result, everyone behind her, including me, had to wait for over 10 minutes while all our food sat there getting cold. I was just dumbfounded how they could not problem solve this issue to get others food orders out as well as get this woman's order right and get us all on our way with our food. After 10 minutes of my food sitting behind the counter and no end in sight, my wife and I finally just left since we wanted to eat and wanted our food fresh. Totally rediculous. Maybe they will have their issues worked out in a month or so,...

The worst panda you can ever go to. The other day I go on my 1 hour break from work and go in the drive thru and they tell me pull around and wait.. i waited about 45 minutes, went inside and asked about my order that was just sitting at the window and then when i get home i look and get someone else’s food.. i then tried calling the place a bunch of times and nobody answers.. i went inside today to let someone know and the girl tells me there’s no mangers and she will give me my order from last time since it was wrong and told me i have to wait 6 minutes for the entree i wanted.. i then waited over 30 minutes again for my order to be done. i get home finally after waiting forever again to then see my chicken and green beans were barely even cooked the chicken was so squishy and the green beans were super crunchy and just not cooked long enough after waiting so long. i’m super...
