I've never been to this place before, I know of the one down on 8 Mile never been in there either, but I figured I'd give them a try ,they're close to home and I walk in, I was greeted right away, I stood in line for maybe a minute if that ,and was asked to come up and what were you trying to do today, nothing but kindness, respect, fast, courteous, I mean all the good words in the world I can give but didn't say, I give to AMIR, this gentleman, he was perfect, I felt almost like part of a family, cliche as it may be, but I've been to a few other places, it seems like the other place is just treat you as another dollar sign, or bum, I've seen the show, it wasn't at all what I expected, very clean, very respectful, I definitely will be telling anybody that I know that needs extra cash or needs to go and get something to replace or just something that they don't have, I didn't need the money, I also didn't need what I had anymore, I have a few more things because I'm moving and would help with the fees of and cost of said move, my only regret on this occasion was I didn't look around, almost glad I didn't because I probably would have bought more things, I wish I would have asked the names of everybody else working today, all were amazing, thanks again AMIR, I was asked how much I wanted for my item and I name my price i believe was fair , I just don't really need much stuff and I was given more than what I asked for ,i didn't have to barter, haggle, I don't do well with that, anything like that ,it was amazing I'm still kind of shocked at how I was treated, it was amazing I'm super grateful for all the events leading up to that because I believe that I was meant to go there and actually find a good place where people can buy, sell or trade. I believe with people like that, people like AMIR, or what we need more of in this world, thanks to you I'm having a better day also very impressed, like beyond. Our church, which is 1 block from this store purchased a computer to use in our worship service about two weeks ago. I am the Senior Pastor. After immediatly dropping the computer off at our church, I then went to Chicago for my daughters start of College and meetings with my Senior Pastor who is in a suburb of Chicago. I came home and set up the computer for the Sunday worship service. When it booted it appeared to have a broken screen and was all full of lines. The very next day I went back to the shop to show them that there was a problem. They immediatly inferred that I must have dropped it or it slid around in the car and I must have broken it in the 1 block trip to our church. Being a Pastor, I assured her that none of her accusations were true and that no one else had come in contact with the computer. They said they would fix it if I paid for the repair. I reminded her that it was supposed to be a working computer when our church purchased it. They refused to return our money or fix it. I then stood in the parking lot and informed incoming patrons of their bad business practices and the manager came out and threatened to call the police on me. The money to purchase this computer was donated by hard working people so that we could add to our worship experience and this business ROBBED them. The most unprofessional “manager” I have seen in my life. As a project manager, I am shocked someone with zero managerial skills calls themselves a manager. I called them and asked if they buy my hand painted guitar and they said yes of course we buy guitars. He told me to come in. The guy at the register tried to help but neither of them had ever seen a hand painted guitar. I told him it was a 2017 Artall. Thought he understood what it meant but his brilliant conclusion was so you couldn’t sell it since 2017? SMH. They had no understanding of guitars what so ever. They were googling it! And finally he said he would take it maybe for $30! I paint guitars and sell them on my online store. The value is way more than that. The case of the guitar on its own is worth $40-$50. He also had no idea what my couple of Swatch watches were. He kept calling them “Quartz”! What a blessing though. I just sold my guitar online for $140. Don’t waste your time. This is nothing like the Detroit shop. They try to buy super cheap. If this store has an actual manager, I hope they look into this. This is not the way to run a business or treat customers.
