I made an appointment in the beginning of the week for Saturday at 12. There was a woman who messaged me after initially confirming the appointment asking if I could move my appointment back to 1-2, in which I made sure to specify that I had prior commitments and wouldn’t be able to reschedule. I was told it wouldn’t be a problem and that a nail tech could take care of me at 12. Once I get to my appointment on Saturday around 10 mins early to check in I get told that they were running behind and needed to reschedule for 1:30-2. Personally, I won’t be coming back due to elaborating days prior that I needed my nails done at 12 and even received confirmation that I would be taken care of at that time. Everyone was really nice and very welcoming. However, there was only one person working on my initial arrival, think she was the owner. I left and came back a hour later, then I waited for almost 30 mins for a pedicure then a young lady showed up. That’s not why I’m giving 2 stars. After waiting , I was sat in a chair that didn't work so the first part of my pedicure was super uncomfortable, then I was moved to another chair toward the end, the young took 2 hours on my pedicure and not even one week later my gel polish was bubbling up and coming off. So I randomly strutted into Nail Boss like the main character I am, and let me tell you—I left feeling like royalty. Jamila? A literal nail goddess. My hands went from “meh” to “who is she?” in under an hour. I’ve had my nails slayed here before, and every single time these ladies serve talent, professionalism, and vibes.
