Five Guys — Restaurant in Poquoson

I order five guys delivery tonight. Five Guys uses DoorDash to deliver their food. My order arrived with missing items clearly left out by the Five Guys location. I called the store and was told I could drive to the store to pick it up or I could call DoorDash to get them to either redeliver or refund my order. I called DoorDash to start a redelivery. After being put on hold multiple times while they called the store the lady told me they wouldn’t let her do a redelivery. So, my only option was a refund or drive to the store. So, I called the store and began driving to the store. I asked to speak with the manager and they put me on hold twice because the manager was busy. I was able to get to the store while still on hold and asked to speak with the manager and was told the store manager was not there. I told them who I was and was treated rudely by the staff like I was bothering them to try and retrieve part of my order they failed to make and deliver. They finally said they would just remake it but acted bothered by the only thing. No apology. No offer to make it right while the rest of the food is at home getting cold. This is just bad customer service. It should be better when you charge this much...

Placed a doordash order thru this location. The bag was sealed differently than normal, so I was not surprised to see that one of my sandwiches was missing. I called and spoke to Robert. I let him know a sandwich was missing, in hopes of just getting a replacement. He proceeded to argue with me that he had bagged the order himself and it must have been the doordasher who took it. I returned what was left of my order to the store, not feeling safe to eat food from an order that had been tampered with. I was not offered a replacement order, a refund, or even an apology! Doordash also refused to refund my order. I've been a loyal Five Guys customer since getting too much old food from McDonalds. Now Five Guys is as bad as McDonalds - just another crappy fast food restaurant with rude employees scamming with Doordashers to screw over their customers. Five Guys burgers are tasty but not good enough to put up with this mess! I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO FIVE GUYS! They have gotten their last...

I decided I would take a cheat day and treat my family to five guys, I order bacon cheeseburger , 'll, bacon cheese burger and a BLT . It took 25 minutes for the BLT to be made and 10 minutes for the burgers so of course by the time I got the BLT the burgers were cold. The order in total was $35.00for 2 cold burgers a BLT and some fries after waiting 25 minutes. To add insult to injury their covid 19 plan includes a young lady Standing in the corner wiping down the counter where you pick up your order. She has no idea of what customer service consist of, maybe it was her first day and some one told her just to make sure to wipe the counter down IDK but every time i went to check on my order she practically knocked me over trying to wipe the counter it would have been comical if I hadn't been waiting so long for my food. I use to think of 5 guys as a treat when I wanted something special, not any more cold food and over zealous cleanup person has really soured me on...
