Donatos Pizza — Restaurant in Virginia

Tonight I dropped in to pick up the pick 2 combo. I've been here several times before without a problem. But after I ordered I noticed more the atmosphere has changed since my last visit a while back. There's a lot of young people now who all appear to be playing around, playing games, and having more fun than focused on quality service. I asked "Kaden" when he brought my food out if gloves were worn while preparing my food. And he said "no, but our hands are clean". I had a feeling this was the case cause I never saw anyone wash their hands, and everyone seemed to be having a good time and goofing around versus making sure the orders were taken care of properly. Even a gentleman that had been waiting before me stated he'd been waiting over 30 minutes for an order he called in, or ordered online. Which should had been ready before I even got there. Kaden apologized for the atmosphere stating a manager quit tonight mid shift. Guess that meant "when the cats away..." In my opinion this place will go down if young inattentive people are running it. It use to be such a nice fast upscale place for quick authentic Italian food. I want my money back. Kaden said I'll be contacted by "L.J." tonight or tomorrow. If I don't hear from him first best believe I'll be calling wavy tv 10. With my camera on record if I have to go back in person for a refund. GO BACK TO HIRING...

I ordered a pizza through a delivery vendor, but before placing the order I called Donatos to ask if they would not put tomato sauce on my pizza. I explained that I would be placing the order via delivery vendor and that there was no option to indicate that I did not want tomato sauce. The young lady who took the call said the restaurant could do that and she took my name. Guess what, the pizza arrived with tomato sauce on it. I can not eat it. I called the restaurant and the same young lady said she gave instructions for it to be made with no sauce and she doesn't know what happened. I could not wait for another pizza as was a limited lunch period. I would not give this review. However this is not the first time that this restaurant has done this. The exact same issue a couple of months ago. People today have a problem with taking in information and following instructions. Poor customer relations.....

I ordered doordash last night, I'm new to this area and by far that's the best pizza I have ever had in my life. And I've had quite a bit of pizzas in my time. Js. I got the spinach chicken pizza and the pepperoni for my husband, he even said it's one of the best pizzas he's ever had. We also got the brownies. Which we heated up in the oven for coffee this morning. I'm just amazed at how good this place is!!!! Thank you for using fresh ingredients and high quality. I really hope to see one of the chains in Texas!!! I'll definitely be coming again. I'm sorry I ate my pizza already this morning. Lol but you can find a photo of it on doordash I did upload a review last night. I just had to give him some more love on Google this place is incredible!!!!
