Sadly, I must replace my original review after the experience I recently had with FW. After shopping around quite a bit for a new sofa and chair, we found what we wanted at FW. The salesperson we had, Daphne, didn't seem to be quite sure of what was going on most of the time. After making the purchase she told me that I would have a 10% off card upon delivery. We were also looking for matching pillows and an ottoman so she said that I should wait to buy those accessories until after receiving the 10% coupon, the coupon also stated that I would get a $25 gift card if I made a review on Yelp or Google. I went back to the store to purchase the accessories I wanted, ottoman and pillows, with my review in hand to get the $25 gift card and 10% coupon I had previously been told by Daphne that the price for two pillows was $50. ... At that point she told me that if went outside on my phone and did the yelp review I could "double dip" and get two $25. gift cards (her words, not mine). I did not do it then, but went back home and did the second review,then went back a couple of days later with two reviews and the 10% coupon. At this point everything changed... now, oops, the pillows are actually $50 EACH!! What!!! Oh, and the ottoman is not considered and "accessory" (??) so it doesn't apply to the 10% off... She was obviously nervous about being caught giving incorrect information... she brought her manager who said " sorry, i guess everyone makes mistakes, and Daphne made a mistake when she gave you the information" OK, so now, I asked for the $25. gift cards so I could order online if I choose to.. but now, again, the song changed... they will only give you the gift cards for doing the reviews if/when you make a purchase at that time.. oh, and only one gift card, not one for each review as I was told by Daphne (who, by the way had me leave, go outside (or in my case drive home) to do the additional review to "double dip" (again, her words). What a horrendous shopping experience... Not sure when things changed so much, I have shopped with FW for most of the furniture in my home... but will no longer set foot in that store... I am posting the coupon card here, note that nowhere on this coupon does it say that i needed to make a purchase in order to receive the gift card, this seems more like a form of bait and switch. I purchased chairs a year ago or so and have had problems ever since. I bought 2 swivel electronic rocking chairs. They kept breaking at the base. Then the mechanic part had to be messed with (the buttons) finally it got to the point where they agreed to swap out the chairs and instead we got the manual. Now I purchased a battery pack which was 500$ and their response to me wanting a refund for it was to sell it on Facebook market place. Cool. Anyway, I got the manual chairs and fast forward to today and one of the chairs broke. I contacted them. Mind you I purchased the warranty. They sent Chad out, he took pictures and said someone would be in touch. A week goes by I contact them. They said they will order the part as a courtesy but I would need to pay to have it installed. On top of that they said they would refund the warranty.
I don’t know who the general manager is and I never care to ever see them. But I am blown away.
Back story, my son is special needs and disabled and has a prognosis of 14 years of age. He is my forever baby. He is 4. He loves to rock in the chair with his nurses.
And you're going to give me grief about rocking chairs? I have been purchasing future from this place for 12 years and I can’t believe what I have to stress over now. I am in the process of writing a demand letter (per attorney’s advice) I just don’t need this crap.

In response to your response. Once again, THE CHAIRS BREAKING OVER AND OVER ARE NOT MY FAULT. How many times do I have to say that I am rarely home to “enjoy” them. and honestly I was told I would consistently get repairs if it came down to it and it did. In return you blamed me - rudely might I add. I had to fight for a refund and I asked several times for full refunds and to take the furniture back and you guys kept saying I have a warranty. Read moreBUYERS BE WARNED! Check the BBB as well! Furniture warehouse is a joke. They do business like the mofia. They are the kindness sales folks to get your money and after that, it’s nothing but a horror event. The furniture we purchased actually lasted a month before falling apart. Heck, it wasn’t even delivered without damages. Tech comes out and looks at everything, orders the part. 9 months later no word from them. 10 months later we get a scheduled date, no one shows up. By this time, more parts are falling apart and we let them know. Tech will be out to look. Never showed up! A year later still waiting on the first damaged items to be replaced. After enough phone calls and complete silence, we turn to the company we financed with. Dispute is in progress but this company lies and says they’ve been in contact multiple times, lies! We supplied the finance company with phone records and security videos from the days Furniture Warehouse claims to have been here or called. Proof is there that that lied and they still want to argue the fact. To top it off, once the proof has been provided that they lied to the finance company, now we are out of warranty and nothing they can do. Complete garbage of a company and the owner can’t even call a customer back herself. She has someone else do her dirty work! Let’s see if she sends her dirty work people to the courtroom while our attorney eats this company alive.
Buyers simply beware with this company! Scam artist and liers!
UPDATE to Furniture Warehouse- thanks for your response but we’ve been in contact with your company at least 20 times. It does no good to respond with a professional response when you don’t stand behind your warranty AT ALL. You want to blame everything on Ian, our problems were reported a year before Ian.
