Kohl's — Local services in Portage

I love going to kohl's! There was a sale rack that said 50% off of already clearanced price. They had a double rack of jeans. They had a ton of them that just so happened to be in my size, which is rare, and they were marked down to $15.50. I ended up picking up five different colors and styles in my size and then decided to choose two. At half price for each of them the total was $15.50 but I happened to have $10 in Kohl's cash and that would have made it $5.50. They happened to have a store-wide 20% off sale for the 4th of July weekend. My total came to $4 and some change for two pairs of original price $44 each. Basically the total would have been $88 plus tax! I got each pair of jeans for around $2! You cannot be that! BONUS: you don't have to have a Kohl's credit card to receive Kohl's cash! You just download the app and you type in your phone number at the cash register and it accumulates for you. Let me tell you this though, I have been working on my credit for the past 10 to 15 years. I have been turned down for credit for a long time unless it's an extremely high finance charge or annual fee and I don't get it. I applied for a Kohl's credit card and they immediately gave me a $300 credit limit. If you are trying to restore your credit or start credit, this is a great place to establish it. Prices are going way up from what they used to be! You used to be able to get a lot of good deals at Kohl's and you still can depending on what time of year you're shopping but all in all good prices are all going downhill. Don't buy sheets from here they are very bad quality, only last a few months before they rip. Also do not buy comforter sets from here. After a year or so the comforter rips. This is happened to me twice! And as far as blankets go oh, it's hard to find things for a king size bed. Don't buy the Sherpa throws because as soon as you wash them for the first time they are not soft anymore. As for the big one throws, they are nice and last a long time, but buy them online or in-store on Black Friday for $8.99 and stock up that's what I do. Also selection 4 plus size women is awful!!! The cashier MELANIE is horrible!!! I have had her multiple times at check out and she ruins my mood every time. Literally scammed me into getting a credit card after I told her numerous times I don’t want one. I am not easily fooled and told her multiple times I don’t want one. She kept saying “ok..even if you dont get it, you’ll still get the 40% discount. It’s a special promo today” and then proceeded to have me apply for the credit card. I asked one last time if I didn’t want the credit card, do I still click continue/the green button and she said yes. I clicked it and she responds “Yay. You’ve been approved for the credit card!!” 😡😡😡 Straight up lied to me. I was extremely upset and she didn’t even care.
