I enjoyed this ballroom a lot. It is very big so no trouble for dancing. People are friendly and you will find a lot of dance partner. No katter boy or girl. And the good thing for me is that dancers are in different level of proffession so you will get a chance to be exposed to a variety of dance partners. Also, I loved the red light that makes the heat and the music is very good too. Last but not least, WE HAD LIVE BAND TOO. It was great.

I’m mostly reviewing the Stumptown swing that happens every Sunday evening. You can show up for a lesson at 7:30, and open dance starts at 8:00. It’s a $10 entrance fee, and then you get to dance the night away! You’ll mostly get east coast swing dancers, with some lindy and blues thrown in for fun.

Beautiful place to go salsa dancing and probably lots of other dancing. I attended a SonLatinoPDX event and there was plenty of room to dance and the ambiance was amazing. Full bar and water was available

I was vending at an event in this venue recently. It is a very unique location. The recent event has vendors split between the main hall and the basement. I was assigned a spot in the basement. I can't say this space was special. It had low ceilings and poor lighting. Space was also limited. I walked through the main ballroom, which was packed with vendors. It was noisy and also poorly lit. As for parking in the area, it is also limited. The venue does have a small parking lot, but the surrounding neighborhood requires a permit, and pay to park options are 2 hours max. I will say the event was...

Nice venue space. It's not modern or trendy by any means but I go for the dancing. It's a large, comfortable space and the floor is in very good condition for suede bottomed shoes. There's a bar although I don't know if it's always staffed. There's also a parking lot behind the main entrance but it's often full. If you do have to park on the street be mindful you don't park in one of the neighboring business's driveways or the no parking areas as the Franz semis are constantly pulling out from the wearhouse nearby. There's also a lot of homeless in the area so keep valuables...

I was at Norse Hall attending an event that was being held there. The building is very old and there is no elevator. There's absolutely no ADA access even for going into the building. Much less when you get in and have to climb stairs for the top floor as well as go downstairs for the lower floor. Because it's so old, the aesthetics are rather dreary. Lighting is dim. And there is no parking. I gave it 3 stars instead of less because I assume the rental is...
