Hoping this message finds Nick who is a lovely human and the reason we have gone out of our way to Cabot Street for years:
The younger gentleman who I believe only relatively recently began working here is the reason we will no longer return. He was super friendly initially, but then became rather abrasive. The main issue is the way he conducts business: He accidentally overcharged my partner for a crave, but then gave him another one free of charge to make up for it (instead of processing a refund like a professional). The next time my partner went in the store, he tried to make my partner pay for it even though he gave it to him because of his error! So clearly he remembers us. The next time I went in, he took my ID, studied it, and asked a plethora of completely unnecessary questions. I understand IDing with every purchase and maybe even asking some questions to make sure the ID is legit, but this guy (who clearly remembers customers hence trying to charge my partner for a crave weeks after he gave it to him for free) was obviously trying to waste my time. Frankly, it made me uncomfortable seeing how long he was looking at my ID, studying the information on it, and then asking arbitrary questions.
Then he charged me for 2 full-priced craves when we’ve been given 2 for $25 discounts every single other time we’ve gone. Okay maybe the store policy changed, but there was zero rapport and he didn’t tell me “hey there’s no discount on 2 anymore” before charging me.
The main issue is that he is simply unfriendly, clearly goes out of his way to make things difficult and unpleasant for his patrons, and was super unprofessional in tossing us a free crave because of his error and then trying to charge us for it...

Read moreDifferent employees charge different prices for the same item. They will scan an item and then add more on top of its original price. Bottom line if you want to get scammed go to Cabot street market, otherwise I wouldn’t deal with their pricing bs. It’s the cashiers choice how much you pay and it’s almost always priced higher than...
