Lovely dog park! We stopped here on a road trip up to Maine. It was really nice to let the dogs stretch their legs after being in the car for several hours. The grounds seem to be nicely maintained. Some seating for people, trash can nearby, poop bags if you need them, water bowls & spigot, toys, agility equipment, and loads of tennis balls. There was a bit of un-picked-up poop, but easy enough to avoid. We didn't meet any other dogs while we were there, but the dogs passing by were friendly. The there is a triangle of grass in one corner of the large area. The small dig area is inconsequential. I don't know why people think small dog areas should be tiny but this one doesn't allow much room for small dogs to run. What totally appalled me was all the poop in the grass areas surrounding the fenced park. It's gross. it appears that many dogs have defecated outside the fenced area and their caretakers have abandoned the poop. I found...
