The food wasn't quite what the picture looked like and described, but it was still okay. They got rid of what I used to order, so I had to pick something new. The service was great. The cleanliness, however, was HORRIBLE. The salt shaker was so dirty that the salt would not come out of it and had some brown stuff on the rim. The floor was filthy and needed to be cleaned. The ketchup had some dried up on the bottle. Everything was just nasty...
Edit: After my last bad experience where my order wasn't right and wasn't what I wanted, I was contacted by a manager who offered to provide me with the meal I originally wanted for free my next visit. When I went back, the service was MUCH better and the manager was very nice and polite. However, the taste of the food was still poor. I understand it was free, but I feel the kitchen staff may need some better training or something. My boyfriend's food was cold to the point that the cheese was not even melted and my chocolate batter pancakes with chocolate chips hardly had any chocolate chips or chocolate syrup on them and they weren't very sweet. If I would've known they wouldn't have too much flavor I probably would've gone with a different flavor instead. I've had those before and I do not remember them tasting the way they did this time. It was somewhat disappointing.
Edit #2: I went back since I had more points to use. I tried to ask the waitress questions and she apparently wasn't understanding, so I kept it simple for her. My boyfriend's food was cold. After I gave the waitress the codes to redeem rewards, she asked to see it on my phone and then ran off to the back WITH my phone. When I saw her I called out that I needed my phone back, so she handed it back to me. There was a ton of confusion just trying to get the bill right. Then as I'm leaving I tried to go to the bathroom and a strong horrible smell hit me when I walked in and the only handicapped stall was a MESS to the point that I just turned around and walked right back out. The waitress was a nice woman, but she needs to find a job that would be a better fit. Being a server is not it. Once again, horrible service and experience. Maybe I will just attempt the other location next...
ย ย ย Read moreMy boyfriend and I recently found out that ihop was opened 24/7 and around 3am we were both craving the tres leches pancakes and decided to go to ihop. We got there around 3:20am and were suprized to find the doors locked, doors that said opened 24/7 on them. We noticed a black van parked on the side of the building that was on and we both assumed that it was a worker. I don't know if they were a cook or a server, but I do know that the open sign was on and they were not opened like they were supposed to be. We drove to the sonic that was right across the street and watched as at least 2 more cars pulled into the ihop parking lot trying to get food, but ended up leaving because of the locked doors. We sat in the sonic parking lot for at least 30 minutes waiting to see if the man in the van was going to go back into the building or if any other guest would be let in. Neither of those things happened. All that I can say about our experience is that it was ridiculous. There is no good reason for a restaurant that is supposed to be opened 24/7 to be locked with the open sign on and employees just sitting in the parking lot, watching as people are trying to go inside to eat and do absolutely nothing. We were so disappointed that we ended up leaving and went home without getting anything from the other 3 restaurants in the area that were actually opened 24/7 like they claim to be. It is only all the more upsetting to me because as I was looking over the reviews before deciding to write this, I saw a review saying that someone who was trying to go to ihop 3 hours before my boyfriend and I tried to go also said that they refused to serve them. Meaning that the doors were locked for at least 4 hours altogether. I don't know what is going on there, but I believe that whatever employees that were working overnight last night should face some serious consequences and they shouldn't be able to get away with turning away paying customers because they locked the doors to go sit in their car doing God knows...
ย ย ย Read moreWorst dining experience of my life. The service was just as bad as the food. The server didnt come to our table for 20 min after taking our drink order to take our food order. The place wasn't busy at all. Our server had 2 other tables. She went back and forth to one of the other tables 3 times in that 20 min and wouldnt even look our way. Finally the food comes out about 40 min later. We had ordered the kids pancakes meal how it comes (5 silver dollar pancakes, scrambled egg, and a bacon strip), quick 2 egg breakfast (bacon, 2 eggs, I ordered them over easy, hashbrowns and toast), and the sampler (comes with 2 eggs, ordered over easy, bacon, sausage, ham which we subbed for toast, hashbrowns and pancakes) we also ordered an extra pancake. The food came our and there was no hashbrowns on either plate. The kids meal came wrong as well with sausage and an over hard egg. The hashbrowns were cold and the toast was cold and hard. We get our food and start eating and the server comes to tell us that their server is down and they cant take cards and they want us to go to a bank down the road and pull cash out. Then the manager came to tell us again and we told her how dissatisfied we were and she basically told us oh well. We finally get our tick er t to see how much we needed to pull out. Well we give the money to the manager and about 10 minutes later no one has come back to our table. So we see another table going up to the front & saw that theanager had went up there so we did the same. She then asks us if the lady ever brought our change. No. She had it in her pocket...
