I want to share my experience with the staff of Staples on Sheldon Street in Prescott Arizona. My brother who fought cancer hard for two years recently made a difficult decision to go under Hospice care. As many who have faced this type of situation know the stress and details required of family members is more than difficult. I was asked to provide photos of my brother. So many photos and memories that had to be copied and sent to memorialize him. I was in tears when I went to Staples because I could barely look at the photos let alone make a decision of what to send. I was greeted by a lovely young woman named Alison who helped me through this whole process and gave me hours of her own time to get this done. Then the next day when I went to pick them up, I was greeted by her supervisor Michael who helped me through more tasks and was incredibly kind. But here is the real kicker after all of these photos were emailed to the end user, I was told that I needed to re-send in a different format. Long story short Michael changed All these many pictures from pdf format to .jpg and emailed to the end user with no issues and no push back he just did it. So, you tell me who provides this type of professional service with this level of kindness to their customers? For me, Staples on Sheldon is where I will go for all my service and product needs. Thank you, Alison, Michael, Dennis, and Jason. Mimi Prescott Arizona
Fast Forward to 10/5/2023. I am adding to my first review in 2022. In my earlier review I thanked several employees for their help under very trying circumstances. This time I want to call out Jason who kindly walked me through reconnecting process for my brother printer after we changed out modem. This may seem like a simple fix but at 70 years old and after viewing every How To Video I gave up and went to Jason for help. Jason walked me through everything and I was able to connect my wifi to the computer. I am so grateful for his help and kindness. As I said earlier not every Staples location is the same, it comes down to the people and Jason is the best. Thank...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI would give zero stars if it were an option. I went there yesterday with a very simple print project (8 color pages, on 8.5 x 11.5 photo paper.) It was a Mother's Day gift. I even called ahead to make sure they were doing in-store print services (as their google info said 'curbside services') and I spoke to a really friendly young woman, who said "Sure! Come on in, we are here!" When I got to the printing/copy center there was a woman working there. She seemed frazzled right of the get-go, and was definitely not the friendly person who had taken my call earlier. I told her the specs of my project, and she said: "I'm too backed up. The earliest I can get it done is tomorrow." I said: "Can I print it myself on a self-service printer?" She said: "our self-service printers do not take photo paper." I'm pretty familiar with the models of printers/copiers that they use, and they do in fact 'take' photo paper just fine. She then retracted her previous statement, and explained that she'd finish the job that she was on and then would get my project done for me. I thanked her, and explained the reason for the rush being that it was for Mother's Day. She responded: "Yeah. That's what all these people said too" (pointing to her current print jobs). It was so rude, that I told her never mind, and left the store. When I got to the parking lot, I decided I should call and speak with the manager on duty. I called, and guess who answered the phone! Yep, she answered the phone. I asked to speak to the manager, and she said SHE was the manager. I asked to speak to a different manager, and she said she was the only one in the store. I told her I would like to speak to someone else, and she put me on hold and never came back. So, I went back in and asked a girl at a register to speak to a manager. Low and behold, a young man named Jason came out. She wasn't the only manager on duty, or even a manager at all. I ended up going to Office Max a few miles away and got FANTASTIC customer service. Won't be using...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI donāt leave many reviews but this was pretty bad in my opinion and need it to be known how bad the customer service was that I just experienced with this Prescott store. I usually use OfficeMax but decided to try Staples this time.
I placed an online order for custom business cards with same day pickup. The order went through and then later I received a call from the store saying they donāt offer that service anymore and they would need to be shipped and would take a few days. I said I need it same day, to cancel the order and Iāll have to go somewhere else. Knowing OfficeMax will be able to do it.
That was on Thursday (4/3/25) and now itās Tuesday and I get a call that my order is ready for pickup at Staples. I call to tell them about the mix up thatās happened. I tell them that I talked to someone about canceling my order. The girl on the phone tells me sheās the one I had spoke to and that I did not cancel the order, she said that I said āI need them today so go ahead and put the order thruā.. which doesnāt make sense because if I need them today why would I put the order thru to be shipped and take till next week to get them?
I tell her āno I said I want to cancel. Thereās clearly a miscommunication here and I just want to cancel the order. I already got them from OfficeMax.ā I feel Iām being nice. But she seems to be getting upset with me and after the 3rd time of her telling me I didnāt cancel, I ask to speak to the manager.
She tells me āIāll cancel the order. But if this is how itās going to be, then we wouldnāt be able to help you with any future ordersā
My response, āthatās perfectly fine. I wonāt be doing business there anymore and will go...
