If you are hoping to get the full wonderful bridal experience that you would hope for on your wedding day, the Hassayampa Inn is not the place for you. In planning our wedding, our experience with the Hassayampa Inn was very disappointing. Since our venue was in Downtown Prescott, we thought it would be a great place to have our guests stay because it was such a central location. We coordinated a “Courtesy Block” of rooms for our guests. There was a big miscommunication on the amount of time that they would give our guests the set rate…they gave us a date to have the rooms booked by. We informed our guests and told them to book their room during the provided date range if they wanted to get the special rate. Our guests began calling during that time frame, but were not offered the “Courtesy Block” rate. Come to find out, there was a big event the same weekend of our wedding in Downtown Prescott, so the Inn chose to stop offering the set rate to our guests because “the demand for rooms went up.” When I called to ask about the contract that we had signed, stating that our guests had until the set date, they were very rude and emphasized that it was a “Courtesy Block” and they had the right to change it. I understand that it was a “Courtesy Block,” but I wish it had been communicated better because we told our guests that they had until a set date. Our guests were frustrated because the staff would be very rude to them on the phone when they would call and ask for the special rate. The staff would say, “Oh, you’re with the [Surname] wedding” in a very condescending tone. Our guests did not deserve to be treated like that.
Amore was great to work with when booking the Bridal Ready Room. She was very sweet and was great about communicating over email because we do not live in Prescott. On the day of, we had breakfast for everyone getting ready…the food was great, but there wasn’t one staff member who came down to the room to check on us to see if we were okay throughout the whole 5 hours that we were in there…no one came to clear dishes or even fill up our pitchers of water. Me and my bridesmaids getting ready was already stressful as it was, and having to clear our own plates did not help.
On the night of our wedding, we figured, “You only get married once, so why not splurge on getting a nice room?” So, we decided to book one of the suites with a Jacuzzi tub. The staff knew that it was our wedding night. They even wrote “[Surname] Wedding” on our room information card. Do you think that they would have done anything to acknowledge that it was our wedding night…nope! Not even a little sign that said “Congratulations!” or anything. It was so disappointing because we just spent all of this money to make our wedding night even more special, and they didn’t do a single thing to acknowledge this special moment in our lives…we might as well have just booked a standard room. I have never heard of a hotel not doing anything for the couple on the night of their wedding.
Our experience was so disappointing. I would never recommend the Hassayampa Inn to any brides planning their wedding. And, because of how they treated our guests, I would never recommend anyone to stay at...
Read moreThe prices without a groupon are ectrely reasonable. Staff is very responsive to elevator travels - it is manually operated by hotel staff 24/7 super cool!! Bath and body works shampoo, conditioner, and massaging soap bar! USB charging ports and outlets on the desk really appreciated those. wanted to thank you for the amazing experiences. Hotel staff were top notch and fast. Every corner, hall, antique shimmered with past glory and the paintings engaged the imagination one “I would love to live in this home or that house. “. Thank you for placing our rooms across the hall from each other. It was so much fun just enjoying the room 316 and the suite 318. We spent most of the time just catching up with each other, sharing laughs and memories till the wee hours of the morning and catching a mid day nap. We heard the carpet was new. It was so soft and and the creaking wood floors below just made us smile it really added to the ambiance. We weren’t expecting anything paranormal since we were told those rooms were on another floor. But around 3am I had just fallen asleep in 316 when I hear my name repeated quickly close to my bed. Noe noe noe noe. I opened my eyes and looked around my door was still locked with the deadbolt and I was alone. The voice sounded like an excited young male. I crawled back in bed and fell asleep. I don’t know what time it was when the second strange thing happened. I swear it felt like someone poked my back with one finger. Knowing the door was deadbolt locked and I was alone was a bit spooky but I figure this might be done the same strange voice I heard. I wasn’t scared never felt threatened but it was like something just wanted attention. It’s the first time since I was a child to experience something like this. I’m kinda bum I didn’t set up the camera. It was an experience of a life time. My aunt and cousin laughed at me the next morning when I told them what happened. I just was incredibly thankful and surprised. Two nights went by so fast, as I was packing up I realized that I hadn’t read the the magazine and book of historical hotels by the tv. I called the front desk to see if it was okay to take them and I couldn’t believe it when the said yes! These are truly gifts of exceptional service that we received. I have never had a more pleasurable hotel stay. Each one of us had the time of our lives. I wish I could remember and list all the compliments we had. And words thank you will never fully cover our gratitude. We left refreshed and relaxed.
Thank you for all your accommodations, Superb staff, all encompassing decor and ambiance. You allowed us to have a fantastic stay for our first family trip. None of us wanted to leave

Read moreWe have stayed in the past at this beautiful historic hotel. It's a well perserved time capsule to the past and considered a very opulent hotel in its day and I think now as well. You feel and see the elegance of the time, as you enter. It's amazingly well preserves and takes you back to the 1920's. The staff are attentive and friendly. The rooms are what you would expect in a very old building and they have done so much to make them feel warm and inviting. If you are expecting rooms that are sparkly fresh modern and brand spankings new, this isn't it. You stay at this hotel because of how it represents what was considered luxury during its hay day. The rooms were considered large than a normal hotel of the time. By today's standards, maybe they would be considered as larg. You expect that there will be creaking floors and you may hear chatter in the coradors as people pass. In a historic hotel you are not expecting high water pressure and a huge tub and bathroom, but that's what old buildings have, and they've done a nice job of maintaining a feel of the era while maintaining older fixtures. That's what's charming about it. The Peacock Room is elegant. You can easily imagine what it might have looked like in the 1930's because they have maintained the era with incredible detail in the restaurant and the entirety of the common areas. The food is amazing and the wait staff is friendly and attentive. The lobby... Well it's just stunning. Absolutely perfect! Again, it is well maintained in its original glory. The front desk and bell staff are very friendly and welcoming, knowledgeable, helpful and attentive. This hotel represents everything that makes Prescott so unique and beautiful. This hotel and the town itself has done an amazing job in its preservation of the past. The town can be busy especially on weekends and during events and parking difficult around town, but it never loses that historic small town feel. For us, staying somewhere representative of the areas history is a must. We can stay at a chain anywhere else, in any town that doesn't have something like this as an option. Given the choice of modern verses historic, historic wins, hands down and this beautiful gem of a hotel offers so much more than any chain can. It's an amazing experience no one should...
