Had a lovely afternoon on the patio sipping wine and enjoying appetizers while the kids played on the adjacent splash pad. Service was prompt and friendly. Such a great afternoon in fact that we made reservations for dinner.
Our party of four arrived for dinner at our reservation time of 6:45. Although the table was ready and set, the hostess told us that she was instructed to have us wait for five minutes (red flag). We patiently waited in the lobby until we were seated. Before we were able to sit down, I had to call the hostess back to please pickup the crumb explosion that was on my chair and beneath it.
Once seated our obviously stressed server came by to drop water and say hello. We didn’t see her again for 15 minutes when she took our appetizer order. Later when she brought the appetizers, she took our drink order. It was obvious that there was a staffing issue and our server did the best she could running between all the tables. Finally we placed our dinner order, here’s where the wheels really fall off. Of the 10 entree choices, half were sold out. It was 7:15 on a Saturday night, they were still seating guests and half the menu was sold out! My mother ordered the pork dish and later the server returned to say that was gone as well. With little to choose from, my mother ordered Mac n cheese. The food was enjoyable if you were lucky enough to get what you ordered but the night was diminished by the poor kitchen prep and understaffing.
We told the manager we were disappointed that so much had been sold out and she said she would take care of the Mac n cheese dinner. When the bill came though we were still charged for the Mac n cheese as well as the pork dish which had been sold out.
Maybe this was an horribly off night for the restaurant but I don’t think I’ll give them a second chance. Management could have gotten ahead of the disaster by greeting each table to offer an explanation or a dessert to share… anything!
Moral of the story, go for...
Read moreI had an extremely unpleasant encounter with a waitress at Triple Creek Kitchen, who demonstrated a complete disregard for both the restaurant and the Hilton Hotel brand. When I approached her to ask a question, she saw me coming but chose to ignore me and walked back to the hostess station to perform a task that was not related to her role. Despite my efforts to get her attention, she made it clear that she had no intention of helping me.
To add insult to injury, when I reported this incident to the bartender (Ginger Guy), he didn't seem surprised and sighed as if it was a common occurrence. This type of behavior is unacceptable, and it's clear that the owners of this establishment need to do a better job of vetting their employees to ensure that they uphold the high standards of the Hilton brand.
As a Hilton customer, I was extremely disappointed by the rude and unprofessional behavior of this particular waitress. I was so incensed by the incident that I felt compelled to speak to the franchise manager and franchisees about it. I urge the management to take swift action to rectify this situation so that other customers don't have to endure such disrespectful treatment.
In conclusion, I would strongly advise anyone thinking of dining at Triple Creek Kitchen to think twice before doing so. If this type of service is representative of what customers can expect, then it's not worth the time...
Read moreWe have been waiting to try this place since they opened and finally had a chance this week. We were excited after seeing their online menu. We came in at 1pm to an empty deserted looking place, so we were seated immediately. Once we got the menus, we were disappointed. Apparently they changed their menu a couples days prior, and this new menu is straight childish, boring, and gave the impression that they didn’t have an actual chef. Well anyway, wife ordered a salad with fried chicken strips, and I ordered the “Philly” cheesesteak. We ordered the pretzel for an app. Pretzel was a microwaveable tasteless disappointment. Wife’s salad came out with grilled, not fried, chicken. My “Philly” was not cooked, seasoned, or assembled properly with very little and unmelted cheese. Definitely no where near a cheesesteak. The French fries were about the only thing that tasted ok.
This place either doesn’t have an adequate fulled supplied kitchen and pantry, or it lacks a capable and trained chef and management team. Absolutely never eating here again, and surprised Hilton would have it in their establishment. Oh, waitress was friendly and did take the price of the chicken...
