A few weeks ago, we purchased a new SXS from West Virginia Motorsports and had a great experience with the sales team. They were helpful, knowledgeable, and made the buying process easy. We also had a few extras installed and spent a decent amount of money, feeling confident we were building a relationship with a dealership we could continue to work with.

We returned shortly after to buy a helmet, and again, the customer service was friendly. However, this is where our experience took a disappointing turn.

On the way home, we stopped at a small-town dealer to grab an item WV Motorsports didn’t carry—and noticed they were selling the exact same helmet for $100 less. That’s not a small difference. Given how much we had spent with WV Motorsports, we were surprised by the upcharge and hoped they might be willing to either reduce the price or let us return it.

The helmet had not been worn—only briefly tried on in-store. In fact, it was the same floor model we had tried on—no box, no tags, not pulled from inventory. Still, the staff refused to work with us and told us they “aren’t Walmart” and compared trying on a helmet to trying on underwear—stating it couldn’t be returned for that reason.

We were honestly shocked. We had just spent thousands of dollars at this business, but when it came down to a reasonable conversation over a $100 price discrepancy, we were shut down and spoken to in a condescending tone. It felt like customer service ended the moment the sale was over.

DONT GO THERE I AM JUST WARNING YOU OUR SIDE BY SIDE HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP MORE THEN WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO RIDE IT JUST MORE AND MORE PROBLEMS THAN ANYTHING ITS PRETTY SAD!! They also was so post to go over the whole thing well I just discovered they never looked or touched the air filter it is dacentagrading so that tells me they don't do what they are so post to the person that works on these machines does not do his job at ALL I have pictures of the air filter that was never touched or probably never looked at...

I was looking for a CF MotoSport4 and checked the deals at the Beckley dealer and got their best price. Afterwards I got online and found the MSRP and was shocked at the mark up in Beckley. I then called WV MotorSports in Princeton and they did not have one in stock but said they had one in Summersville. I called and talked to the sales person in Summersville and was told to come up and he would give me a deal. Turns out it was a great deal. I drove up with my trailer in tow and spent a couple of hours there. I got the sidexside I wanted with a windshield, signal lights, horn kit and a 5 year warranty for less than I could get just the machine at Mohawk. The guys in Summersville were very nice and helpful. I appreciate the way I was treated and would recommend that anyone looking to buy check with them before they buy anywhere else. Since that day I decided I wanted to license the machine and met Jamie the lady that filed the paperwork at the Princeton branch. She has been so much help getting the paperwork through the DMV.
