I visited the store today and had a disappointing experience with the service. Despite the presence of a large number of customers, there was only one cashier working. The manager was observed standing idly by, seemingly unconcerned about the long line forming. This lack of assistance from the manager was unprofessional and left customers feeling frustrated and neglected.
One customer eventually approached the manager to inquire about the lack of additional cashiers. Unfortunately, the manager responded with an unhelpful attitude, displaying a clear lack of professionalism. It should be noted that the manager said only five employees were working, which further added to the inefficiency and delays. Also, never once did he apologize for the inconvenience.
As the situation continued to deteriorate, customers began to leave the store and abandon their items on nearby shelves. Rather than assisting the overwhelmed cashier, the manager was seen gathering these abandoned items and returning them to their respective shelves. This further highlighted the lack of organization and support by management.
I would like to emphasize that this incident occurred on 2/2/24 and it is my sincere belief that the manager's behavior was unacceptable. For a manager to get frustrated at the shoppers while his cashier struggled checking people out. It is clear that such a manager is not fit for their role and should be replaced. The overall experience was disappointing, and I hope that appropriate actions are taken to address these issues and improve the service quality...
Read moreI made over an hour drive to the Prosper store to pick up a Magenta Kayak that I purchased online. That location was the closest to me that had the Magenta color and I very much wanted that color. Upon arrival I was presented with a magenta kayak that had a cut/hole on the top at the front. I asked if they had another one...ya know, not wanting a hole in my kayak n' all... The next Magenta Kayak had been beaten up fairly well on the bottom to include gashes, one of which so deep the plastic was clear...one more bump on that and it would've become a hole in the bottom of the kayak (not ideal, not even a little). The representative tried to give me a percentage off, however I don’t want to purchase a brand new kayak only to not trust it or have to repair it before getting to use it. Since the next closest Magenta Kayak was over 100 miles away I ended up purchasing a different color. After purchasing that one, the representative then submitted the first two kayaks as defective...so very unsettling to know I could have went out on the water with a defective kayak. Overall experience - I drove over an hour for a particular color kayak, presented with 2 kayaks that were defective, ended up with a different color kayak that I could have purchased at a closer location...not a satisfying experience...not...

Anyways.... Very over priced compared to competitors. I think they mark stuff up just so they can mark it down. Also, I was very disappointed in selection of some items, and the layout was a bit confusing based off where product was.
HATE- 1) stores who do not make their employees wear some kind of uniform, everyone is in plain clothes, who do i ask for to get help? Someone with a radio in their ear.... No, that's a guy on his cell phone... Name tag... Can't find any... Oh, guy working on a bike.. He didn't know... 2)hate when you can't see the price as they ring things up!! I asked for what it was ringing up as and the cashier ignored me but seemed to do something on register after I asked. Turns out 3/5 items I bought were a different price than marked on shelf! 3)hate signs explaining tiered clearance stickers, and everything was first tier... My bad, you tricked me into looking at more stuff. Seems like a dishonest trickery tactic... Which seems to be a theme here...
