I created a review last year after a wonderful (or so I thought) experience. We were “sold” the lights (or so we were told) and that the initial rate ($972 AFTER a 10% early install discount) would be significantly less the following year as the first one includes the purchase of the lights. We booked them for this year (early install as well) and were sent the SAME exact rate as last year. I called and was told that they only rent the lights and I couldn’t have been told that, but gave an additional 20% off which still left us at over $750. They refused to honor their word, and continued saying that it was just a miscommunication and there was nothing they could do. I’m sorry, but this is not how you do business and we will be taking ours to an honest company. We have these specific details in writing in an email regarding the purchase of materials etc. I hope this helps other families avoid over-paying and being told misleading...
Read moreWe have been a customer of Firehouse Christmas Lights for five years. They have always done a great job until this year. Fast forward Christmas Eve, went to turn the lights back on and the original set were out again. Sent a text and then followed up two days later with another text since no response. Finally after reviewing their product guarantee on their website, I asked if they would offer a partial refund. Their response was “no and we will be by soon to take your lights down...good luck finding a company next year.” ...
