I called and visited every decent suit shop in RI and Boston and none came close to the level of excellence and service I found there. They are truly in a different league, beyond comparison.

I knew I wanted to look good for my wedding, and had some rough ideas about what that meant. But there are so many details to consider. It was overwhelming. I came to Marc Allen feeling exhausted and confused after visits to a dozen other spots. I walked in with nothing but a photo of Ryan Gosling as my inspiration and they exceeded my expectations.

Colin and Will aren't just salespeople, they are men's clothing and formal wear experts. And even more importantly they're patient, enthusiastic, and fun. I was kind of a diva about choosing my outfit and Colin was absolutely there for all of it from the moment I walked in. He answered all my crazy questions, was flexible when I was indecisive, and helped me feel confident about all my choices.

I ended up getting a completely custom tux jacket from Marc Allen, and Colin helped me source and choose every other piece of clothing for the outfit. They took my measurements and tailored every item, putting it all together for me. They also found the perfect bow tie and cummerbund to round it out.

The jacket fit perfectly and looked amazing. I got so many compliments from our friends and family, and it felt like exactly what I was imagining. It's incredible quality, too. It was not the cheapest option but it was SO worth it.

Purchased a custom suit for my wedding from Marc Allen, and I have to say what an experience. The most in depth measurements I've ever had for a suit fitting, in a good way. They were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable from start to finish. I don't normally wear formal attire so I really had no idea where to start. They diligently listened and helped guide me in the right direction. Josh and Marc(?) were great. We had some great laughs, and they really made me feel welcome and like I was one of the guys. The store is wonderfully kept and has a great atmosphere. I just tried on my custom 3 piece suit today, and I have to say, it's the most comfortable formal attire I have ever worn. Everything fits snug but movable. It follows my curves and compliments me beautifully. I've only ever experienced Mens Warehouse where they get you close to the suit looking good.
