Nothing short of spectacular! Matthew is a shinning example of how to treat brand new customers: compassion, understanding, informative, honest. Not once did I ever feel pressured to be lured in to his brand vs anyone else's. Simply gives you a big portfolio to see if it is anything that might interest you and if nothing appeals then feel free to go on about your day. What I found amazing is how customizable the ring making actually is. From the prongs, to the diamonds karat size and even engraving. Matt and his team can do it up well! Even cooler was the whole process is shown from start to finish via a 3D specs (I forgot the programs name LOL) and even 3D printed before you give the final word to make the ring. Every step of the way Matthew would show me how it was going up until it was finished. What I found particularly great was how lenient Matt was when it came to pick up the ring. Circumstances came up and it hindered my ability to purchase the ring when it was finished. Thankfully, Matthew was OK with me waiting almost a whole month (with emails in between explaining the situations) to pick it up without worrying of any fees or losing the ring entirely.

Matt helped customize the perfect engagement ring for my fiance. His attention to detail and master of his craft was truly apparent in the final product. They utilize a 3D modeling system to render custom designs based off your preferences. I was a little nervous at first going custom vs out of the box, but I'm so glad I went the custom route. After multiple 3D renderings, we ended up with the finished product which they actually 3D print and send to you before production. My fiance now has a one of a kind piece that incorporated all of the elements she wanted in her ring and was ecstatic with the final result. I would also add that going custom gives you complete control over the cost of the ring so you can stay within your budget and still get exactly what you want. I highly recommend going custom, and if you're going custom, you absolutely need to go see Matt. Fantastic work and I will be back in the future for more...

Michele ( with one L) at Hegeman & Co was an absolute pleasure to work with. I put my trust in her and her amazing staff to resize and essentially re-work the entire band of my beautiful, but VERY delicate, brand new engagement ring. She was refreshingly honest from the beginning and extremely knowledgeable of her craft, which made me feel like I was in excellent hands. The original band was only 1mm in thickness. The ring is also extra special because it has my grandmother's diamond in the center. Michele explained to me the importance of making sure the prongs were in the proper places, as the diamond is chipped around the edges from it's old setting.

I am beyond amazed and grateful for the gorgeous work that was done to make this very special ring more durable. If I could give this company ten stars, I would.
