Went here with my sisters the shop was very clean, well organized and stocked well. My biggest gripe is that the branded items they sell ARE NOT AUTHENTIC!!!!!! This may be a great place to buy things like ponytails, makeup bags and hair accessories etc, but don’t buy ANYTHING BRANDED!!!! We purchased some Dove items, and noticed when we got home they looked very strange and different compared to what we have, and they were manufactured in India and the product code wasn’t normal looking! All the dove we have at home is manufactured in Connecticut. We also purchased hair dye that we normally buy at Walmart, noticed when we opened it that it was very different than the normal one we buy. Also DO NOT BUY THE LABUBUS. THEY ARE FAKE. SOME LOOK REAL BUT THEY ABSOLUTELY ARE NOT. Everything branded here at a price that’s too good to be true, likely is counterfeit~ even things you may not entirely expect. It’s a cute store, they have some good deals on some things, but I would not recommend purchasing any branded stuff as it is likely not authentic. Even Conair Knot Dr brush we purchased was completely different quality than one (same brand and type) we have at home. Branded items I would recommend purchasing at a trusted seller or company. I would even recommend Amazon for the Korean skincare & makeup over this place. The prices are too good to be true (half the price of Amazon & ulta) for brands like Anua & Mediheal. Just buy that kind of stuff somewhere better, trust me.
There are a lot of cute Sanrio items of characters that are harder to find (Hangyodon, Pochocco & Pompompurin), fun hair accessories, stuffed animals, and a very very vast selection of hair. So the store itself wasn’t all bad, and the cashier was very friendly, and it’s HUGE in there. You could spend hours in there just looking and exploring around. Overall the store was good, I just hate stores that sell fake items~ it feels very dishonest. It’s worth checking out once, especially if you live nearby, just be careful what you purchase! If it seems too good to be...
Read moreIf my pick is between Sams, Sally's or Sistar, it's gonna be Sams Beauty every time. I don'y know who already gave this freshly opening store trust issues, but if you genuinely find it appropriate to walk up to customers after being in your store for 10+ minutes, take the bags from their hands without asking, then come back with a hair clip and tell them they can get their items on the way out, then be very obvious as you follow me around the store, while I am a paying customer. I honestly should't have even given this place my money, but after being so harshly and immediately judged as a thief upon entering, I wanted to let the woman who followed me around, know she should feel absolutely disgusted with her actions and how she handled that entirely. I was really REALLY excited for this new store to open, I've seen the tiktok posts about the one in the city and how nice the experience was there. Maybe they needed to give themselves more time to open, and implement working security cameras, instead of snatching bags out of a shoppers hand, and following them around. You put this location in the middle of a shopping plaza surrounded by dozens of other stores, do you really expect people to not come in holding bags, and do you plan on snatching them out the hands of all your customers. Poor attitudes, poor customer service, disappointing all around. Stick to Sams Beauty, at least they check you ON THE WAY OUT, instead of following you...
Read moreThis store DOES NOT give refunds, just store credit and exchanges. I wish zero stars were an option. I asked when making my purchase if I could return it for money back or original tender given if I changed my mind and was told yes. For one, make that known at checkout that ALL SALES ARE FINAL but can only exchange or get store credit. The small sign displayed at customer service is like reading fine print, they know most people are not going to read that, although there's a sign stating it, make the sign noticeable AT ALL REGISTERS in bold print, the cashiers should even say it before they ring you up. I've found some of the prices higher than other stores and noticed being followed while I shopped and spent over $140. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN OR REFER ANYONE!! I can't patronize a business that gives false claims at purchase and just so you know, SAM'S BEAUTY WAREHOUSE across the street is WAY BETTER priced, has better management, customers are happier and said they WOULDN'T go to SISTAR BEAUTY, and are operating on a more professional level than SISTAR BEAUTY. My review is quite long but I hope it helps people who have questions and need better understanding as to who you give your dollars to and how they view YOU as a consumer. You lose SISTAR!! 👎👎 My choice will now and forever be SAMS BEAUTY WAREHOUSE across...
