Antiques marketplace has vendor "booths" that extend from the basement to the fourth floor attic. There are items dating back hundreds of years and also "vintage" 1980's paraphanalia. You can spend a little or a lot. My teenage daughter recently found a pair of professionally matted and framed fashion prints from Godey's Lady's Book, dating back to the 1850's. We paid $24 for the set. There are cases and cases full of gorgeous estate jewelry. A genuine beaver fur hat might be perched atop a brass birdcage. Anatomy charts from 1900 are for sale alongside a two foot tall plastic Michelin Tire man. You never know what you will find here. Most things are priced to move, though the occasional vendor will list items at a premium. All in all, this is a fun place to poke around in for an hour or so. Staff is friendly without being intrusive. New pieces are arriving all the time. Special sales pop up regularly, such as a recent 20 percent discount on...
Read morePros: 3.5 floors of lots of antiques, this isn't a " flea market" type of place.
Good place to spend a few hours looking over everything, not a store to rush through.
Great location with plenty of places to eat around there and great historic building
Cons: Checking out! Very crowded in the checkout area, almost reminded me of going to a window at the DMV.
We stood in line for several minutes, the nice woman employee guided us to an open window to pay for an item we put there earlier to hold, we approached the window as the young man welcomed us yhen the older gentleman behind the counter came over and said" you have to wait in line over there" . I said we were guided to the window. I'm not sure who he is but he just assumed we cut in line ! I said that's " not nice" We did purchase a nice product but not sure we would visit again. The checkout experience was too hard to go...
Read moreI absolutely adore this place. I have been here many times and have seen and even bought many interesting vintage treasures. I have found things like a vintage poster featuring a photo of a little girl with a grandfather clock who looked eerily like my late grandmother, a couple of hasbro Battle Trolls from the 90s a miniature Halloween carousel and a 1990s McFarlane Toys Little Miss Muffet and that’s just stuff I bought. I have legit come here, seen something cool, went home, thought about it for a bit and then went out of my way, miles from home, DRIVING THROUGH MULTIPLE STATES, To come back and get it (calling ahead of course). Also the people working here are really nice, really knowledgeable and really helpful. It is like 4 floors and change of wall to wall antiques and vintage stuff, I’m likely gonna come back yet again sometime and I wholeheartedly...
