I can't complain enough. My son used to work here and didn't get his last pay when he left. Jan owed him $93.00. My son went to ask for it, but she said she owed him nothing. In fact, Jan pushed everything off of her desk and said that if he could find it on the floor, then he could have it. One time of being immature, but not the only time.
My son went off to college, so I said that I would get his last paycheck. I went and confronted Jan, telling her that not paying my son is incredibly wrong. In front of customers, Jan started raising her voice at me. I told her how much she owed my son and I wasn't going to leave without his pay. With her screaming getting louder, Jan pulled a $100.00 bill out of her pocket. She crumbled it up and threw it at my face, then walked away. Second time of being insanely immature, but not the last.
My husband and I were at a meeting/party a while ago. We both ordered the chicken, but much to our surprise, the food could have gotten us pretty sick. Potatoes were cold and a bit not cooked. The vegetables tasted like they had freezer burn. The chicken was rubbery and not cooked enough at all. We let the waitress know, then we heard Jan start screaming. Then we all, all who ordered chicken, were given a take home box to cook it at home. None of us could believe it. Jan said that if we didn't like the way she was handling it, then we were more than welcome to leave.
Jan is the most insane and immature person that I know. There was another incident before this last one, but I think that you all understand. We have not and never will be back to such horror...
Thank you for reading. God Bless you...
Read moreLet me preface my review by saying my wife and I didn't eat in the main restaurant, but in the adjunct building where plays are performed. That building has a kitchen staffed with personnel when special events are scheduled. Tonight my wife and I attended an investment seminar. We both ordered the chicken piccata. For piccata, the chicken is first dipped in egg and then in flour. Both are then simmered in a lemony butter sauce, often a white wine lemony butter sauce which usually includes capers. This chicken was thicker than the normal picatta, but most importantly - it was grilled! The sear marks were strong on both sides of the chicken, which was covered in some sort of puce colored gelatinous sauce. The chicken was over-cooked and dry, plus you got pieces of the seared meat. I ate it (my wife didn’t), but when I got home I needed a Pepcid. Don't even get me started on the vegetables. The chicken, mashed potatoes, and vegetables were over-salted. If you're a chef remember - the client can always salt-to-taste, but they can't remove salt from the dish. Anyway, I would have given 1 star, but as I prefaced this review, this was not the main restaurant nor...
Read moreThe venue itself was a perfect size! The food was phenomenal and Tori the bartender was so kind and helpful. However, the rest of the staff was irritated and short with us. One of the girls wouldn’t even respond to anything you’d say, no smile, no you’re welcome. She seemed absolutely miserable. We were paying thousands for this bridal shower and the women hosting were all beyond polite to the staff, but the staff do not return the favor. The table cloths had lots of stains on them. One I had to request to have it changed and the annoyance I was met with was unpleasant. We requested white linen napkins and they didn’t have enough so we opted for paper. They put out maroon linen napkins instead and they were all different shades of maroon. When asking about changing the music the manager was irritated and throwing up her arms about it. It’s the little things that add up. If the staff had been friendly and gracious it would’ve made all of the difference...
