I have been ordering from Starbucks for a while now using both the mobile app and coming into the store for orders but today, Sunday, December 11th at 2:01pm was the worst customer service experience which is appalling. If I could give a zero rating I would..
The quality of customer service at this Starbucks has declined greatly throughout the years and this makes me very disappointed because I felt disregarded as a customer when inquiring about length of prep time for mobile app order, the lack of communication about availablity of milk alternative products, the lack of consideration from baristas and no managerial intervention.
Today, specifically at 2:01pm, I decided to order from the 1245 Hancock Street Monroe place in Quincy, MA location and it was a complete disaster. I ordered a warm banana nut bread, a tall hot caramel brulee with almond milk and a tall white chocolate mocha latte by using my mobile app.
My bakery item was ready in less than five minutes, which was great. Then, I patiently waited another 15min for my beverages to come out and when my name was not called nor my beverages were placed on the counter, I asked a barista how much longer for my drinks and she indicated, I was next. 15 mintues, had passed again and I inquired about my drinks and another barista looked at the mobile order sticker in front of her and stated, there was no more almond milk and If I was interested in one of the other milk alternatives. So, I asked, why have I been waiting for almost 35 min just so the barista could tell me there was no more almond milk, when the sticker clearly indicated order was made at 2:01pm and printed in front of the barista??!! Yet other customers walked in and walked out with their orders.
I feel my order was dismissed because there was no almond milk and no tall cups for a half hour as a mobile app order??!! And this is Starbucks??!! And there were four baristas present??!!
This is highly unacceptable and poor customer service especially since no manager became involved to remedy the situation which made me upset in the first place. The baristas continued to casually converse and the customers just watched.
Thank you Starbucks at 1245 Hancock Street Monroe Place in Quincy, MA, for your lack of consideration, lack of quality in customer service and managerial problem solving skills. I will not be returning to this location and other customers who want to feel like a customer should not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is my local Starbucks and I have come here for years, so this has gotten so bad lately that I have to leave a review. Let me start by saying that they make all their espresso shots that they need for their drinks in plastic cups (which is horrible in so many levels. They don't make them in paper cups or ceramic like the rest of the Starbucks do and then pour them into cups with ice so that we the poor customers that pay so much for a drink don't get plastic in our bodies. Second, they have no real measurements and basically they make one large plastic cup of espresso shots and distribute that to many other plastic cups and then they pour the milk and then the ice. So you get to experience the plastic not from 1 cup, but from 2 cups. Second, even if you ask for light on ice, they don't do it, and they also don't fill the cup all the way like designed. So because the don't use measurements they half fill them, you are left with 80 percent with what you were supposed to get. Oh and it gets better, if you say something about it they say - oh I used s bigger cup. I have been buying Starbucks for years on my end, I know the difference between cups and that was just simply not true. And I was not the only customer that had the same problem. several times drinks waiting to be picked up are not filled probably. This is a compete cheat from the stuff. I have visited this place any time of the day, from the very early to the very late. And where most of these problems arise is with afternoon staff which has probably only 1 peson from the morning, or are all different . Please don't ruin our Quincy center with these cheats. And make drinks like everyone else does.We pay on average 6/7 bucks for a drink, we don't want to get anything less of what we asked and we don't want that with a dose of plastic because it is convenient (more like lazy) enough for you to use one plastic cup to make many shots of espresso when the leasr you could do...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSecond time I go in here and spend 10 bucks and can't even get my coffee because they have "issues with the tickets" or today they made the completely wrong drink after I waited an entire 15 minutes. My time is NOT free or UNLIMITED. I needed an answer the FIRST time I asked about my drink and they assured me it was on the way and it wasn't even the right drink. So by that time I had no choice but to walk out because when you ask an employee about a refund they act like it's some sort of an undefined mysterious impossibility They are robbing money from people because I guess their coffee just isn't expensive enough. Oh and the owners of this location or management apparently does not care to even respond to one star reviews. They must be rolling in money Oh and their little response below is just a lot of corporate garbage. The Cafe in the Quincy Center T is better, faster and more reliable and...
