My first-time at Color Me Mine was a recent a "family night" with 3 children (ages 3, 7, 9) and 2 adults. Lots of ceramics from which to choose - selection ranged from silly (ceramic donut piggy bank) to practical (coffee mugs, soap dishes). There was something for everyone - the first time painter to the skilled artist. The staff was great! They were very quick to refill paint trays, easy-going when there were a few spills, and extremely patient when the two younger children got a little rowdy.
General info☆ •Every person in your party is charged $8 fee for unlimited paint and finishing of ceramics in the kiln •prices of ceramics range, approximately $18 - $40 •BYOB permitted (I found this out after we got there, unfortunately. So before going back I would inquire if glasses provided, and if they charge a corking fee.) •entire studio can be reserved for private parties - minimum of 8 painters required

Read moreOriginally went to make personal one of a kind birthday gifts for our friends. Before creating our pieces we asked how long it takes for them to process. We were told 7-10 days. Perfect. On our way out we confirmed again how long it would take. The girl pointed to a chalkboard and said 7-10 days. She did not mention any chance of delays etc. Well 7-10 days has come and has gone and our pieces were still never fired. Another thing that has come and gone are our friends birthdays. The prices here are not cheap and we had to shell out more money to have something for our friends to open on their birthdays. We have called several times since completing our pieces 3+ weeks ago at this point and keep being told they are backed up and still haven’t been put in the kiln. It would have been nice for the team working the night we went to at least have told us they were backed up and to expect delays. Super...
Read moreFun activity with a pretty solid selection of pottery to pick from. We showed up on a Sunday with no reservation and was told a birthday party was happening soon so if we wanted more time we should come back at 2:30 - cool no problem. We came back at 2:45 and by time we started painting they said there was another party starting in 45 minutes so we really had to rush through our projects.
It’s a really cute place and the staff was very sweet probably high school girls. However, my constructive criticism would be to make it well known before people start how long they will have until they’re kicked out due to a birthday party. We would’ve rather just come an entirely different day with a reservation and had more time. Also a little music would be nice. It was dead silent and a little...
