Out There Outfitters — Local services in Radnor Township

I don't usually spend time writing reviews but I couldn't let the absolutely exceptional customer service I received from Heidi at Out There Outfitters pass without giving kudos; and this all occurred on the Monday before Christmas, too. I had spent hours searching online for a Christmas gift that was sold out everywhere. Somehow I got to the Out There Outfitters website and they had it in the exact color desired! I placed the order on line. But then I had questions about the ship time so I emailed the store. Heidi emailed me back very quickly and helpfully explained options. I was blown away with their inventory and the personal and kind customer service that is not the norm. I shopped here specifically to pick up a particularly colored Yeti for my son's birthday. If I'm not mistaken it seems like a Mom and Pop shop which I absolutely love to frequent. Connor was kind enough to hold the tumbler aside until I got there to purchase it. The staff is helpful yet not overbearing. It had such a comfortable feel to the store to just want to browse and shop. So many unique items and I definitely want to return at Christmas time. It was my first time visit to this area and the one drawback I would say is having to pay to park and shop these stores. It doesn't make sense to me that the township would add on a fee to come spend money in their town. It's okay though, it's not going to keep me from shopping. It's just my thought. You can judge a store when you have gone through a complex tangled mess with them, and still have a good experience. I bought a highly coveted patagonia jacket from their online store, but the last jacket in size M had been sold on the floor right as I purchased it online. After using the wrong credit card, a new jacket in size L, two credit card charges that couldn't be refunded -- I have to say they were incredibly professional and responsive. The least I can do is write a glowing review because not every store has good customer service, that are able to follow the tangled thread that ended up with my purchase and still leave a good impression on me.
